With Longmont Restaurant Week rapidly approaching, the Longmont Observer will be publishing menus from restaurants participating in the first annual Longmont Restaurant Week, April 20 to 29.
Here is the menu for Flavor of India Restaurant & Bar:
Starter:
Veg Pakora - Vegetable battered in chick pea flour
Or
ChickenPakora - Chicken tenders spiced with bishop seeds (caraway) and starch
Main Course:
Chicken Tikka Masala - Roasted chicken in rich creamy tomato sauce with fenugreek, coriander and cilantro
Or
Lamb Saag - Lamb with puréed spinach seasoned with ginger, garlic and spices
Or
Veg Korma - Vegetable cooked with cream, ground cashews, almonds and shredded coconut
Side - Nan or Garlic Nan
Dessert:
Kheer (rice pudding)
