FACE is an internationally acclaimed all-vocal rock band from Boulder, Colorado who have been captivating audiences for fifteen years with their infectious energy punctuated by an endearing love of performance. They will be performing at the Dickens Opera House this weekend and you won't want to miss it, so make sure to go with your friends.

Famous Men, Friday, November 16, 2018, 4:30 p.m.

Boulder-based band Famous Men, perform rootsy, bluesy, folksy rock brought to you from the Rocky Mountains themselves. Having recently played at the Fox theatre in Boulder, they will be performing at the Tasty Weasel this Friday night. Come see the talented Famous Men and enjoy great drinks!

Arts Longmont continues its 28th season of Friday Afternoon Concerts and Art Shows on Friday, November 16, 2018 with Irena Sendler: Angel of the Warsaw Ghetto. The series is co-presented with the Longmont Museum. This one-act theater piece by actor/scholar Judy Winnick brings to life the amazing work of Irena Sendler, a Polish Catholic social worker during WWII, who risked her life to save others. Concerts begin at 2:30 p.m. The artist demonstration starts at 1:30 p.m. in the Museum’s Atrium.

Longmont Turkey Turnout and Longmont Kids Holiday Bike Program, Saturday, November 17, 2018, 9 a.m.

The 10th Annual Turkey Turnout is an annual Food drive to help our neighbors in need. Each November, bags are dropped at doorsteps of residents and then collected for donation to the OUR Center Emergency Food Pantry. If you did not receive a bag, please consider dropping off your donation at High Plains Bank (600 Kimbark St) on Saturday, November 17 by 12 p.m.

Please also consider helping out the Bicycle Longmont Kids Holiday Bike Program this Saturday, by donating a bicycle.
