The Women’s Collaborative of Boulder County, a non-partisan NGO representing 15 member organizations, promotes policies that foster the well-being of Colorado women and families.

We have determined that we have support for the 3 ballot issues listed below, which we are supporting as a collaborative. (Note: an endorsement by the Women’s Collaborative indicates that most of the members support, but not necessarily each individual member organization.)

1.    Boulder County Issue 1B, sales tax extension to support affordable housing.

2.    Colorado Proposition HH, to lower the impact on taxpayers of increased property taxes, while providing support for schools and local governments.

3.    Colorado Proposition II, to allocate nicotine tax proceeds to preschool education.

Boulder County Issue 1B, especially, will have a positive impact in our county by providing funding to address the deep need for affordable housing in our communities.

We urge Boulder County residents to support these measures and to vote yes.
