Three years ago Kitchen Company opened its doors on Main Street, however the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the beloved kitchen supply store to move back to Ace Hardware, 1727 Main St.

“It’s where it all began,” according to a note on the door of the downtown storefront. Owners Kirsten and Manny Pellicer own both locations.

The Pellicers will spend the next few weeks moving merchandise from Kitchen Company to Ace.

“We hope to bring the best of what we learned and were able to do at Kitchen Company to continue to help our customers with all their cooking needs,” the Pellicers said in the note on the door.

The owners wanted customers to be aware of a few practical things, including that. Kitchen Company gift cards and returns will be honored at the Longmont Ace Hardware store.

While most of the merchandise will be relocated, it is possible Kitchen Company will open its doors one last time in early July to close out any remaining items in early July, according to the posting on the storefront.

“The store was truly a labor of love for our family and team. We sincerely appreciate your support over the last three years and have really enjoyed being Downtown,” the Pellicers said in the note.
