The Longmont Wing Shack, located at 1133 Francis St., reopened its doors on Thursday after a brief closure.
The local chicken wing restaurant was forced to close on Dec. 26 due to a fire that is said to have started at the Garden Gate Cafe. The fire was caused by a fryer that damaged Garden Gate’s back kitchen area but also damaged the wall shared by Wing Shack.
“The Wing Shack team put in long hours and dedication to get the damages under control and are glad to have the fryers fired up and ready to cook up their renowned wings,” the local chicken chain said in a news release.
