There are so many high points of PEAK|2017, they should have named it “PEAKS”.

The Longmont Area Chamber’s PEAK 2017 industry showcase is Thursday, September 7 from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, with a full day of events beforehand.  All PEAK events are at the Plaza Convention Center, 1850 Industrial Circle.

PEAK features more than 50 exhibits from local and regional manufacturers, distributors and technology companies – and those who support them.

Pinnacol Assurance is PEAK’s presenting sponsor.  Tina Harkness of the Employers Council is offering a safety seminar luncheon discussing Drugs in the Workplace.  This is a topic both timely and significant to Colorado businesses.

Exhibitors have the unique opportunity to engage and inform the community, other exhibitors, and purchasing agents.  Many exhibitions are innovative, interactive and hands-on.  The entire community is invited to discover the distinct industry gems who set the pace of advancement in our area.

“You’ll find robotic hands, electric bicycles, drones, craft beer & spirit samples, precision metal-working and more,” said Scott Cook, CEO the Chamber.

Who should attend this free event?

“How about creative thinkers, STEM students from grade school through high school, curiosity-seekers of all ages and explorers of how things work and who is making them,” said Michelle Brietzke, Chamber Chair.

The Chamber is encouraging attendance at the free event by offering drawings and prizes.

PEAK is partnering for the first time with Rocky Mountain Government Purchasing Association to bring a reverse vendor trade show to local companies and a panel discussion about doing business with government agencies.

PEAK will also welcome 5th grade students from Hygiene Elementary interested in connecting their STEAM education to STEAM careers.  They will meet with local entrepreneurs and have hands-on learning time with locally designed and manufactured products.
