Six weeks after opening their doors, Training For Warriors was welcomed into the area by The Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Kristy Neary gave a short speech by starting with what Training for Warriors is not. "We are not a Ninja Warrior program despite popular belief. We call it class base personal training. We have a Monday through Friday format. We do heavy strength training by bulk conditioning and endurance training. It's based on heart rate monitoring. We do say if you come meet us four times a week you will have results. Within three months your whole body and life will change," she said.

Neary continued with a bit history of Training for Warriors, her history with the program and her connection to the LACC. She thanked a few people for helping her along the way. She introduced her team.

Neary gave a deeper explanation of the program. "The Training for Warriors program is very much about real relationships and establishing the community base. All of us (her team) have bought into that completely. Everybody that comes in here as a student is not a number. We know you by name. We know your psychical issues. We know your goals. We are really, really excited for this. Thank you for coming out," she concluded.

Chris McGilvray, Vice Chair of LACC Board of Directors, presented a plaque on behalf of 780 Chamber members to Head Coach Kristy Neary, to commemorate the event.

Training For Warriors is located at 950 Boston Avenue Longmont, Colorado 80501.
