Boulder County announced that it is changing its COVID-19 data dashboard to better serve the community.

According to a news release from the county, the newly designed dashboard contains all of the same data as it did before. However, it has been updated to be more interactive and mobile-friendly.

"While the new dashboard will still feature all existing data, the user experience is expected to be much improved," the news release states.

The data will continue to be updated on Fridays with the exception of holidays. In these cases, the data will be updated the following Monday.

Boulder County reported a case rate of 118.64 per 100,000 people on Friday which sets the community COVID level at medium.

There were 19.2 hospital admissions and 5.10% of the inpatient beds are being used by patients with confirmed COVID-19 diagnoses.

Boulder County residents who opt to test at home can also report their test results to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. For the test week of Dec. 11, 1,495 people tested negative with a PCR test. However, 182 tested positive.
