BOULDER COUNTY
******************************
Boulder County Parks & Open Space and a consulting team led by Trestle Strategy Group and assisted by Colorado Language Access and Cultural Experts, will present the department’s first-ever Cultural Responsiveness & Inclusion Strategic Plan, or CRISP, to the board of county Ccmmissioners on Thursday at 1 p.m. in an information-only public presentation.

  • Parks & Open Space Department Presentation to BOCC:
Cultural Responsiveness & Inclusion Strategic Plan
  • Thursday, March 18, at 1 p.m.
  • Attendee Link: https://boco.org/BOCC-CRISP

The intent of the CRISP is to add a cultural responsiveness and inclusion lens to all that Parks & Open Space does and to find better ways to engage and provide services to marginalized and underserved communities. For the initial phase of the CRISP, the department focused on the Latinx community of Boulder County.

The presentation will describe the work that was completed over the past year, the key findings and recommendations of the CRISP, and the Parks & Open Space department’s next steps to implement the recommendations. The final CRISP will be available to the public at the end of March on the Boulder County Parks & Open Space webpage.

Questions, comments, and feedback can be sent to Ernst Strenge, senior planner, at [email protected].
