Community Emergency Response Team hosts basic training

In major disasters local rescuers can quickly become inundated with hundreds of calls, and in worse case scenarios help could be hours or days away. Join the Longmont Department of Public Safety to learn the fundamentals of emergency preparedness. CERT training empowers community members to assist themselves, their families, neighbors, and the community before, during, and after disasters.

Class is free and meets three consecutive Saturdays (March 4, 11, 18) from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
