Seven new COVID-19 deaths were reported by Boulder County this past week, bringing the total number of deaths due to the pandemic to 306 to date, according to the latest data reported Monday by the Boulder County Public Health.

Meanwhile, 257 new COVID cases were reported Monday, bringing the total Boulder County cases to 34,208, the public health website states.

At least 73% of Boulder County residents have received the full course coverage of the COVID-19 vaccine, which represents 228,000 of 314,000 eligible for the jabs, according to the most recent figures from Boulder County Public Health.

The figures, also show 85% of county residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine while 12% have gotten “partial course coverage,” according to the health department.

A partial series coverage means those who have received the first dose of a two dose vaccination series, the health department website states.

The seven-day positivity rate for Boulder County residents is 6.2%, compared to roughly 6.4% over the previous seven-day period, according to the website.

Longmont had 29.5% of the reported new cases while Boulder had 32.5%, according to the website.
