About Crafternoon Challenge

Crafternoon Challenge is a weekly craft that kids age 3 to 9 years old can do with help from an adult.

Do This Week's Challenge

See the instructions below to gather your supplies, or pick up a kit at the Library's Children's & Teens' Area, 409 4th Ave. (while supplies last). Then, see the instructions below to make this week's craft!

Supplies:

• Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple, white construction paper
• Black marker
• Scissors
• Glue

Instructions:

1. Cut a circle out of yellow construction paper.
2. Then, cut triangles of yellow construction paper and glue them to your circle to make your sun shape.
3. Cut a cloud shape out of white construction paper.
4. Connect your sun and cloud shapes using glue and strips of rainbow construction paper. The order of the colors of the rainbow is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.
5. Finally, give your sun and your cloud fun faces.
