The Longmont Police are currently conducting a death investigation at 21st and Main Street according to the City of Longmont’s Public Information Officer Rogelio Mares. Decomposed human remains were found in a creek near the intersection.
Mares said that it is still too early to determine time, cause, and manner of death or identify the individual. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is responding to the incident along with Longmont detectives
No further information is available at this time, but Mares said that information will be made available as the investigation evolves.
