Kathleen Becker, EPA administrator for the Mountain and Plains Region 8, will be the keynote speaker at “Clear the Air,” the Sixth Transportation Summit on July 28.

The event is sponsored by Louisville-based Commuting Solutions, an alternative transportation advocacy group that seeks to ease gridlock along the Diagonal Highway between Longmont and Boulder and U.S. 36 between Broomfield and Boulder.

The event will be held at the Origin Hotel in downtown Westminster, 8875 Westminster Boulevard.

This will be the first time in two years people can gather in-person at the Commuting Solutions Sustainable Transportation Summit, states a news release. The event is open to the public.

The summit will bring together air quality, sustainability and transportation experts “as we unpack why collective, ground-breaking level actions are needed to improve air quality locally and globally,” the news release states.
