Former Fire Captain arrested for sexual assault

Kamron Barnaby assaulted four women, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.

Kamron Barnaby, 30, was arrested for sexual assault on April 26, according to a press release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. He is a former Hygiene Fire Captain and is currently employed by the Mountain View Fire Protection District. 

A former Hygiene firefighter accused Barnaby of assault according to the release. Four women, two of whom were lower rank employees of Barnaby, alleged sexual assault incidents that occurred while Barnaby was on duty, which was confirmed by a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office investigation.

Barnaby was transported to the Boulder County Jail on an arrest warrant without any bond for multiple felony counts.

Upon findings, the investigators believe more victims and witnesses are to be discovered.
