The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning along the Front Range today.
Strong winds are expected to begin in the late morning into the afternoon with gusts up to 80 mph.
The winds are expected to continue into the evening behind a cold front with gusts up to 45 mph, according to the NWS.
Boulder County has announced that no burning is allowed in the unincorporated parts of the county today.
The system will bring snowfall late Tuesday into Wednesday and temperatures in the negative teens to 20s Wednesday night.
