As part of the City’s Park Renewal program, the courts at Hover Acres Park (1361 Charles Drive) have been resurfaced and re-opened as of Friday morning, August 25. The newly resurfaced courts include one basketball court and six pickle ball courts. After obtaining input from the community and user groups in the fall of 2016, the City decided to convert the two tennis courts that existed at Hover Park to the six pickle ball courts due to the high demand for pickle ball. Tennis players can find brand new courts at Quail Campus near the Recreation Center as well as existing courts at the following parks; Affolter, Carr, Clark Centennial, Collyer, Dawson and Pratt. Discover all the amenities Longmont's parks have to offer by using our Park Finder at bit.ly/parkfinder.
