NEWS RELEASE
LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS BOULDER COUNTY
************************
Join the League of Women Voters of Boulder County in a community conversation to clarify the history, what composting is, where does it come from, where does it go, what are the costs and the benefits, and where do we go from here.

There has been much in the local news about a possible new compost facility to serve Boulder County.  While the location on open space has been taken out of consideration, the need for a facility remains.

Speakers:
Dan Matsch, Manager, Eco-Cycle’s Compost Department
Tim Broderick, Senior Sustainability Strategist of Boulder County's Office of Sustainability, Climate Action & Resilience (OSCAR)
Bob Yost, VP, Chief Technical Officer, A1 Organics, in Keenesburg
Charlie Kamenides Chair of Longmont Recycling and Conservation Advisory Board
Elizabeth Black, Coalition for Local Compost Climate Action

The virtual event will take place on April 14 at 5 p.m. Click here to register.
