Longmont Police Report: May 8, 2018

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

A Longmont resident in the 2000 block of Kentmere Drive reported a theft of miscellaneous items from his vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

ASSAULT

On 05/08/2018 Longmont police responded to the 1600 block of Gay St., reference a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival officers contacted an adult female, who alleged she had been assaulted by her adult male boyfriend. The male was contacted, taken into custody without incident, and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On May 08, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 2400 block of Dodd Ln. The vehicles were entered but nothing was missing from inside. Case closed.

LOST PROPERTY

On May 08, 2018 a lost property report was received from the 100 block of Bowen Cir. A lost license plater was reported. Case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 05-08-18 the Longmont Police investigated a verbal domestic incident. As a result of the investigation there were no charges filed, however a civil standby was completed and the case was closed.

THEFT 

On May 08, 2018 a theft report was received from the 2500 block of Main Street. An adult female was contacted who reported her purse was stolen from inside a shopping cart. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday 05/08/2018 at 1343 hours Longmont Police Officers took an eighteen year old male into custody for domestic violence, assault in the third degree, and criminal mischief which took place in the 1400 block of Nelson Road in the city of Longmont. This case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On May 08, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 2000 block of Creekside Drive. An adult male was contacted who reported his vehicle was entered and several items were stolen from inside. There is no suspect information. Case closed.

LOST PROPERTY

On May 08, 2018 a lost property report was received from the 1300 block of S Coffman.

An adult female reported several personal identification documents were missing from inside her residence. Case is closed.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday, 05/08/2018, Police received information from an adult female possibly being harassed in the 1900 block of Harvard Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Police documented their findings and are continuing to investigate. Case is open.

HARASSMENT

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Pace Street in reference to a harassment. The case is open for further investigation.

ASSIST

On April 25, 2018 Longmont officers located a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Hover Street that was displaying a stolen license plate. An adult female was identified as the vehicle owner and her information has been provided to Denver Police for follow up as the tag was stolen out of their agency. This case is Closed.

BURGLARY

On May 7, 2018 Longmont Police responded to the 4500 blk of Redmond Dr on an attempted burglary. No suspect information was available and the case is closed.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident in the 2000 block of Yeager Drive reported an incident of identity theft. The case status is closed due to jurisdictional issues.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

On Monday, 05-07-2018, Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of E Ken Pratt Longmont, CO, 80501 on an indecent exposure. Police investigated and arrested one adult male for indecent exposure. The adult male was later transported to the Weld County Jail. Case closed.

DRUG VIOLATION

On May 7, 2018, the Longmont Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 1900 block of Mount Sneffels Street. The driver was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest and also to be in possession of methamphetamine. This case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Monday, 05/07/18 at approximately 2359 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of Delaware Place and S Sunset St, in reference to a disturbance between a male and female. An adult male was contacted and arrested for violation of a protection order. Case cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On 5/8/2018, officers responded to the area of 22nd Ave/Gifford Dr on the report of two males breaking into cars. Two juvenile males were  contacted and identified as the parties breaking into cars. They were later transported to Boulder County Juvenile Center. This case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Tuesday, 05/08/18, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass, criminal mischief and theft which occurred in the 600 Blk. of Clarendon Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

FRAUD

A Hygiene, CO resident reported an incident of fraud by check by a business located in the 1200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. The case status is open and has been forwarded to Detectives for follow up.

DISTURBANCE

On 05/08/18, police responded to a disturbance at the 1000 block of button rock dr. A juvenile male was cited. Cleared by Arrest

BURGLARY

On Tuesday 05/08/18, a report was taken reference an attempted burglary which occurred in the 2000 Blk. Ionosphere in Longmont. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST

Longmont Police responded to Community Justice Services at the 1000 block of Kimbark Street in an attempt to locate a person with a warrant. An adult male was arrested and transported to Boulder County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant out of Boulder County.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, Longmont Police Department took a report of a domestic violence assault from the 1200 block of Trail Ridge Rd. An adult male is suspect. Case Open.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT

On 05/08/2018 Longmont Police Officers were called to a suicide attempt for a juvenile male. The male was located and placed on a evaluation hold at a local hospital. This case closed.
