The Longmont Recreation Center will be temporarily closed for maintenance from August 18 to August 31, 2025.
Every year, the City’s recreation facilities close for maintenance on systems and equipment. This year, the Longmont Recreation Center (310 Quail Road) maintenance closure will extend an extra week to complete repair work on the pool and a full resurfacing of the gym floor.
Following the Kids Triathlon, the pool will close August 16 and 17, then the full facility will be closed August 18-31. The building will reopen on Monday, September 1 (Labor Day), operating from 10 am to 4 pm.
During the closure, community members are encouraged to visit the Centennial Pool (1201 Alpine Street), Sunset Pool (1900 Longs Peak Avenue) and the St. Vrain Memorial Building (700 Longs Peak Avenue). Visit longmontcolorado.gov/rec-
