The Longmont Public Library will begin new year-round business hours on Tuesday, Sept.7

The new hours will be:

  • Monday- Thursday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sunday 1-5 p.m.

During these hours all departments will be open for browsing, according to a city Longmont news release. The computer lab has moved to the second floor and public access is available by walk-up or reservation.

The Library of Things collection is operating as normal, and Discovery Passes are back, the news release states. There is one study room available for reservation and the library hopes to have the second room ready soon, the news release said.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the meeting rooms will not be available for booking by the public until sometime later this year, the news release said.
