NextLight — Longmont’s community-owned fiber-optic internet service — is offering customers wider options to traditional TV services through a partnership with Streamwise Solutions.

Exclusive to NextLight customers, Streamwise Solutions offers a free TV consultation, helping customers combine antenna and streaming options that fit their personal needs and gives them the opportunity to “cut the cord from traditional TV services,” according to a NextLight news release.

Streamwise Solutions typically sees customers’ monthly TV bills cut in half, while receiving a more custom built viewing experience, the news release states.

Combined with rollout of NextLight’s Wi-Fi 6 routers — the fastest, most advanced type of Wi-Fi in the world — the new offering lets customers take their home entertainment experience to the next level, according to the news release.

“A lot of people want to drop their expensive traditional TV service but just don’t know where to start,” said NextLight executive director Valerie Dodd via the news release. “With our TV Solutions offering, they now have someone who can walk through possibilities with them step-by-step and then help set it all up. It’s easy, especially with a high-speed gigabit NextLight connection to make their streaming options completely seamless.”

Streamwise Solutions Founder and Co-CEO Brian Canvanaugh, said, in the news release, that the symmetrical fiber connections of NextLight, recognized as one of the fastest ISPs in the nation, makes this a natural partnership, combining the best Internet and TV in a way that consumers have always wanted.

“We look forward to working with the team at NextLight so together we can reimagine the TV and internet bundles for our customers,” said co-CEO Bruce Adair in the news release. “Between NextLIght’s fast and stable internet with no data caps and StreamWise’s sales and service expertise, we will offer an extremely compelling alternative for consumers still trapped by traditional TV bundles.”
