Community members are invited to a panel exploring how to grow the downtown Longmont area while still retaining its character.

Hosted by the Longmont Downtown Development Authority, the event is part of the Building Better Cities series and will be a panel discussion with regional downtown development authority directors from Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley. Other communities will share their experiences and best practices as Longmont navigates the future of its downtown.

The free event will be 6-7 p.m. March 8 at the Longmont Theatre Company, 513 Main St, and is open to the public. Find details and RSVP at www.downtownlongmont.com/do/downtown-forum.
