SEX ASSAULT

On 08/26/2017, Longmont officers responded to Longmont United Hospital reference an alleged sexual assault. Case is open.

SEX ASSAULT

On 08/26/2017 officers were dispatched to an attempted sexual assault on a child that took place over social media. Case will be left open for investigation.

HARASSMENT

On Saturday, August 26 2017, Longmont Police responded to a report of harassment in the 1800 block of Queens Dr. A 28 year old female reported her ex boyfriend was posting nude pictures of her on social media. The case has been referred to the Domestic Violence Unit for follow up. The case is open.

AUTO THEFT

An employee of a Longmont auto dealership in the 100 block of South Main Street reported the theft of a vehicle from the sales lot. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 08/25/17 at approximately 1711 hours a traffic stop was conducted on the 1100 block of Francis St. The driver was found to be in possession of narcotics. A summons was issued. The case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On August 25, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1800 block of Yeager Drive on a report of a physical domestic violence between an adult male and adult female. The adult male was later arrested in the 1800 block of Main Street on charges of third degree assault, domestic violence, driving under revocation and a parole warrant. This case is cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Friday, 08/25/17 at approximately 2115 hours, Longmont Police were notified of a possible injury crash that occurred at Ken Pratt Blvd and S Martin St. An adult male was arrested for DUI and narcotics charges as a result of the crash investigation.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 082517, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a protection order violation in the 500 block of Main Street. A 54 year old female reported a 66 year old male violated a protection order. The investigation resulted in the required elements for charging not being met. Case closed.

DUI

On Friday 082517 at approximately 2309 hours the Longmont Police Department received a report of a suspected drunk driver. The vehicle was stopped near Ken Pratt Blvd and S Bowen St. One adult female was arrested for DUID and possession of a controlled substance. Case cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 08/26/2017 around 0621 hours officers were dispatched to a call located in the 1800 block of Queens Drive. Officers arrived and spoke to a female party stating she had been in a physical confrontation with her boyfriend. Officers investigated on scene and followed up with other involved parties.

WARRANT ARREST

On August 26th, 2017, Officers responded to a disturbance in the area of 17th Ave and Deerwood Drive. One adult female was arrested on prior warrants. Case cleared by arrest.

INFORMATION

On Saturday August 26, 2017 at approximately 1205 hours an officer took an informational report reference a civil matter that occurred in the 1700 block of Tulip St.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported he purchased an iPhone off of Facebook Marketplace only to learn the phone was stolen. The phone was returned to its rightful owner, and a probable suspect has been identified. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

THEFT

On August 26, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of theft from an elderly female in the 300 block of Homestead Parkway. This case is closed with no evidence to support the allegations.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Saturday, August 26, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 800 blk of Pratt St on a protection order violation. Adult male was taken into custody, booked and transported to Boulder County Jail. Cleared by arrest.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Saturday, August 26, 2017 at approximately 1851 hours, the Longmont Police Department responded on a report of a trespass in the 1000 block of Terry St. An adult male was arrested, and a female was issued a summons. This case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 08/25/17, officers responded to the area of Boston Ave/Boston Ct on the report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. An adult male was contacted and found to have an outstanding warrant. The male was placed into custody, booked and released on bond. This case is cleared by arrest.
