BURGLARY
A Longmont resident reported a burglary of his storage unit in the 700 block of Weaver Park Rd. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.
THEFT
On 08/29/2017 officers were called about a cold theft which occured in the 1500 blk of Peterson Pl. Officers investigated the theft and went to a local pawn shop to recover stolen items. An adult male was identified as a suspect and the recovered property was booked into evidence. This case remains open.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Tuesday, 08/29/17, The Longmont Police Department responded to LUH, reference a patient damaging a wall inside the hospital. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation was completed. The adult male was issued a summons for vandalism and released. Case Status is Arrest, summons only.
MISSING PERSON
On Tuesday, 08/29/17, a report was taken reference a missing person in the 800 Blk. of Atwood St. The case is closed.
SEX ASSAULT
On Friday, 8/25/17, the Longmont Police Department was informed by the Boulder County Department of Housing and Human Services of an allegation of a sexual assault on a child. The allegation is under investigation.
INFORMATION
On Monday, August 28, 2017 at about 1500 hours Longmont Police investigated a possible exploitation of finances of an at risk adult in the 3000 block of University Ave. Case closed.
FRAUD
On August 28, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Frontier Street in reference to a fraud. This case has been refered to detectives for further investigation.
DRUG VIOLATION
On Monday 08/28/2017, during routine patrol Officers contacted a parked vehicle behind the 100 block of 11th Ave. The vehicle was occupied with 3 adult males and 1 juvenile male. An open container of marijuana was disclosed by the driver and additional open containers of marijuana and narcotics were found inside the vehicle. The driver was taken into custody without incident and later transported to Boulder County Jail.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Monday, August 27, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a violation of a protection order. An adult male is suspect. Case open.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Monday, August 28, 2017 at approximately 2200 hours, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Folklore Ave, Longmont CO in response to an injured adult female lying in the road. Officers and medical staff arrived on scene. The injured female was transported to Longmont United Hospital for treatment. Case is open.
INFORMATION
On August 28, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Meadow in response to a domestic violence incident between a 25 year old male and a 23 year old female. A report was taken for information only. Case is closed.
HARASSMENT
On August 29, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Denver Ave on a continuing harassment case where an unknown suspect is tampering with parked vehicles. This case is closed.
ROBBERY
On 082917, Officers responded to a robbery in the 1800 block of Main St. An adult male was robbed by an adult male while working at a gas station. The case is closed.
ARSON
On August 29, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Denver Ave on an arson which is suspected to be part of a continuing harassment case. This case is closed.
SHOOTING
On August 29, 2017 at approximately 0140 hours officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Sunset Drive on the report of a weapons violation. Case closed.

Longmont Police took a theft report at 2424 9th Avenue. The case is under investigation
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Tuesday August 29, 2017 at approximately 1209 hours, Officer's took a cold harassment that occurred in the 1300 Blk of Trail Ridge Rd, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. A report was taken, this case is closed.
DEATH
On August 29, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of 17th Avenue for a report of a code black. A 77 year old female was pronounced deceased. Case closed.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at about 1507 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Amherst Drive on a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival officers found someone kicked a door to a residence. Case open.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
On August 29, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1000 Block of Kimbark St., on report of an individual with a warrant. An adult female was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

On 7-29-17, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 100 block of South Main Street in reference to a report of a burglary. The case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.
DEATH
On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 2100 blk of Sherri Mar St on a deceased male. Case is open, under investigation.
WARRANT ARREST
On Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at about 1944 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Corey Street on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival officers arrested an adult male on an active arrest warrant for his arrest. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.
