DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
On Friday, August 4, 2017 at approximately 2210 hours Longmont Police contacted a vehicle in the parking lot behind the business in the 500 block of Main St. An adult female was contacted and subsequently arrested for DUI.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On 08/05/17, Officers with the Longmont Police Department witnessed a male looking into vehicles and possibly stealing items from the back of a truck in the 1700 block of Main St. The suspect fled on a bicycle but was taken into custody. Case cleared by arrest.
WELFARE CHECK
On Saturday, 08/05/17 at approximately 0843 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Main St. on a report of a welfare check of an adult male who was passed out. He was subsequently arrested and transported to jail. Case is cleared by arrest.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Saturday, 08-05-2017, Longmont Police responded to a report of a possible injury accident in the intersection of Collyer St and Mountain View Ave. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver, as well as passengers from one of the involved vehicles, all fled the scene. One male was later contacted and arrested on an unrelated warrant. There is currently no evidence to identify the driver that fled and this case will be closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On Saturday 08/05/2017 at about 1030 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Department responded to the intersection of 11th Ave and Atwood Street, Longmont, Colorado for a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, officers made contact with an individual who had an active arrest warrant. Subject was arrested and taken to the Boulder County Jail. Case closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On August 5th, 2017 at approximately 1500 hours, an adult male was arrested in the 200 block of Kimbark Street on a warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
DISTURBANCE
On 08/05/17 at 1947 hrs. Longmont Police Officers responded to 50 21st Ave # B-4 on a disturbance. The case was cleared with an arrest.
FRAUD
On August 4, 2017, Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Coffman St on a report of a theft. An adult male and female were spoken to and a report taken. This case is forwarded to the detective division for follow up.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A Longmont woman was bitten by her own dog while trying to break up a dog fight. The dog was quarantined at home.
MISSING PERSON
On 8-5-17, an adult male parent of a teen female, who are both residents of the 4400 block of Redmond Dr., reported his daughter was a runaway from an unknown address in Commerce City. An information report was taken, with the parent being referred to the Commerce City Police for further investigation. The matter is closed.
CHILD
On 8/4/17, officers responded to the 200 block of Sweet Valley Ct on a welfare check. It was completed and information forwarded to HHS for review. This case is closed.
WARRANT ARREST
On 080417, Officers assisted a Boulder County Deputy on a traffic stop in the 600 block of 17th Ave. A juvenile female was placed under arrest. The case is cleared by arrest.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On 080417 the Longmont Police Department was advised of a suicidal party in the 500 block of Main St. An adult male made suicidal threats to his adult children. The suicidal male was placed on a mental health hold. Case closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Friday, August 4 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 100 block of Placer Ave in reference to a report of domestic violence. A 36 year old male was arrested for Domestic Violence, 3rd Degree Assault, and Harrassment.
HARASSMENT
On August 5, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated a case involving harassment of an at-risk adult. This case is closed.
BURGLARY
On 081517, Officers took a report of a theft in the 1200 block of Baker St. An adult female reported she believed an adult male stole some of her items. The case is closed.
DISTURBANCE
On August 6th 2017, Officers responded to a disturbance in the area of 3rd and Main Street. One adult male was taken to the hospital after being assaulted and one adult male was arrested on assault and obstruction charges as well as prior warrants. Cleared by arrest.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT
On August 5, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 700 block of Grandview Meadows Drive on a suicide attempt. An adult male was placed on a mental health hold. This case is closed.
MENACING
On 08/05/17 at 1516 hrs. Longmont Emergency Communications aired alert tones for a disturbance involving a knife at 26 Valentine Ln. The case was cleared with an arrest.
