FRAUD
The Longmont Police Department received information from an outside agency requesting follow up on a report of identity theft. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information and jurisdictional issues.
VICIOUS DOG
On 12/12/17, a 14 year old girl was bitten by a dog as she was walking home from school. The girl was treated and released at the Salud Clinic. The dog owner was issued a summons and the dog was quarantined.
DEATH
Longmont Police responded to the 700 block of Hover Street to assist Longmont Fire Department on a medical assist. Further investigation revealed the death of a 62 year old male. The case is closed.
SHOPLIFT
On Wednesday 12/13/2017 at 2147 hours Longmont Police Officers investigated a theft which took place in the 1200 block of South Hover Street in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Wednesday 12/13/2017 at approximately 2141 hours police responded to the 600 block Gay Street in relation to a domestic incident. An allegation of domestic violence was made however it occurred in Ohio. This report is generated for informational purposes and will be forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency for further investigation. This case will be closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On December 13, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2400 block of 17th Ave on the report of a domestic violence incident. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

On Thursday, December 13, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 400 Block of Lashley St. on report of a missing person. Case is closed pending location of missing person.
DISTURBANCE
On Thursday 12/14/2017 at 0120 hours Longmont Police Officers investigated a domestic incident which took place in the 10 block of Durian Court in the city of Longmont. This case is closed with no active leads and is for information.
WARRANT ARREST
On 12-14-17 the Longmont Police arrested a female who turned herself in at the police station regarding a out at the police station and was issued a new court date. The case is closed.
VICIOUS DOG
The Longmont Police Department investigated a felony menacing which occurred in the northwest side of Longmont. Case is cleared by arrest.
ASSAULT
On Thursday, 12/14/17, officers took a report of a cold assault for 12/09/17 that occurred in the 1600 block of Kimbark St. The case is under investigation.
WELFARE CHECK
On 12/14/17, The Longmont Police Department responded to the St. Vrain Safe Shelter, reference an adult female who was hearing voices and was possibly using narcotics. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation and interviews were completed. The adult female was placed on a Mental Health Evaluation Hold. Case Status is Cleared Exceptionally.
BURGLARY
On 12-14-17 the Longmont Police investigated a burglary at the St Vrain School District building. A female was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for medical attention. The case is under investigation.
CHILD
On December 14th, 2017, Officers took a report of a possible child abuse that occured in the 900 BLK of Quartz Court. This case is open pending investigation.
THEFT
On Thursday, 12/14/17, a report was taken reference an identity theft and theft which occurred in the 400 Blk. of Ken Pratt Blvd. The case is under investigation.
TRAFFIC STOP
On December 14th, 2017, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the 700 BLK of Brookside drive. Three juvenile males were arrested for aggravated motor vehicle theft. Case cleared by arrest.
FRAUD
On 12/14/17, a Longmont resident in the 300 block of Bristol Pl., reported an incidence of identity theft. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information and jurisdictional issues.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT
A Longmont woman was bitten by her own cat in the 4200 block of San Marco dr. The cat was placed under quarantine.
FRAUD
An employee of a Longmont business in the 100 block of 9th Avenue reported an incident of forgery. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.
TRAFFIC STOP
On 12/9/17, at approximately 0419 hours, Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. An information report was drafted due to Protection Order information and an alert associated with the displayed plate. All parties were released on scene.
