CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 1/4/17, a Longmont resident in the 4000 block of Da Vinci Dr., reported an unknown person put a rubber chicken on their front porch with fake blood. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Thursday, 01/04/18, The Longmont Police Department responded to a vehicle break in, in the northeast part of town. An on-scene investigation and interview were completed. At this point, there are no leads or further information to follow up on. Case Status is Closed.

ASSAULT

On Thursday, 01/04/2018 at approximately 1530 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue in response to an assault. This case is open.

WARRANT ARREST

On Thursday 01-04-2018, Officers contacted an adult female in the 300 block of 21st Ave. She was arrested for 3 outstanding warrants. Case cleared by arrest.

CHILD

On 1/3/17 Longmont Police responded to the 2000 block of Miller Dr. reference a report of a cold child abuse. The case is under investigation.

DEATH

 On Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at approximately 1359 hours Longmont Police, fire and paramedics responded to the 1900 block of Warren Ave on a medical call. An adult male was not concious and could not be woken. The adult male was taken to a medical facility and later pronounced deceased. This case is open pending follow-up by the Longmont Police Department Detective unit.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman reported her dog was attacked while they were walking in the 3100 block of Lake Park Way.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at approximately 2057 hours, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Longs Peak Avenue on a physical disturbance between two females. The investigation determined that the argument started over a cell phone and became physical. An adult female was placed under arrest and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 600 block of Grandview Meadows Drive reported the theft of jewelry from her residence. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DUI

On Wednesday 010318 at approximately 2257 hours, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a reported drunk driver from the area of 17th Ave and Pace St. One adult male was arrested for DUID without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On Thursday 01/04/2018 at approximately 0553 hours police responded to the 800 block Summerhawk Drive in relation to a suspicious incident, later determined to be a First Degree Criminal Trespass of a Vehicle. The case will be closed due to lack of suspect information.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, 01/04/18 at approximately 0730 hours, officers were dispatched to the 000 block of 9th Ave on a report of a Burglary. An adult male who was homeless reportedly broke into a residence. Victim did not want to prosecute. This case is cleared exceptionally.

AUTO THEFT

On 1/4/18, a Longmont resident in the 1200 block of S Coffman St., reported a theft of a motorcycle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

INFORMATION

Police assisted with a child custody issue at a local elementary school where the father had received court orders to pick his daughter up and take her back to their home state. The mother was contacted and referred to her attorney and the courts.

BOMB THREAT

On Thursday, January 4, 2017 at approximately 1004 hours Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Main St on a report of a suspicious device. Officers responded and shortly thereafter called for the bomb squad to respond. Main St. in the 200 block was closed for the operation. At approximately 1345 hours Main St. was reopened after the item was determined not be a threat or danger to the public.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On 1/4/17, a Longmont resident in the 600 block of Pratt St., reported an unknown person entered their unlocked vehicle and committed theft. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Wednesday, 1/3/18, Longmont Police investigated a reported protection order violation in the 1000 block of Sunset St. A juvenile male was arrested.

THEFT

On 1/4/17, a Longmont resident in the 800 block of Parklane Ave., reported an unknown person stole their bicycle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

THEFT

On Thursday, 01/04/18, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 1200 Blk. of Martin St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday January 4, 2018 at approximately 1700 hours, Officer's were dispatched to the 1300 blk of Emery St, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a domestic disturbance. Cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 01/04/2018 officers took a report of a violation of a protection order that occured in the1700 Block of Collyer St. Case is open for investigation.
