Stabbing
On Friday July 21, 2017 at approximately 10:52 pm, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Emery St on the report of a stabbing. A neighbor reported a man came to their home bleeding and stating he was stabbed. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.
Injury Accident
On Saturday July 22, 2017, at approximately 8 am, officers were dispatched to the area of Weld County Rd 26 near Union Resevoir on a report of an injury accident. An adult male was later arrested for suspected driving under the influence. This case is cleared by arrest.
Sex Assault
On Saturday July 22, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Ave. to the report of a possible sex assault. A report was taken and the case is closed at this time due to victim not wanting to pursue charges.
Theft
On Saturday July 22, 2017, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Independence Drive Longmont, CO in reference to a theft. This case is open for further investigation.
Theft
On Friday, July 21, 2017, at approximately 8:48 am, officers responded to a cold theft that occurred in the 600 block of Grandview Meadown Drive. Due to the lack of suspect information this case is closed.
On Friday, July 21, 2017, at approximately 11:08 pm, police received a call for service in the 1400 block South Collyer Street in relation to a cold theft. The case will be closed due to lack of evidence.
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, at approximately 6:46pm, Longmont Police took a cold theft via telephone. A Colorado license plate was stolen from the front of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. No suspect information is available at this time. This case is closed due to a lack of workable leads.
On Saturday, July 22, 2017 a Longmont resident reported his bicycle was stolen from his workplace. This case is closed due to no suspect information.
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, Officers from the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft in the 700 block of Baker Street. The case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.
Warrant Arrest
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, officers made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Main. Upon investigation, an adult male was found to have warrants for his arrest. Case is cleared by arrest.
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, officers responded to a welfare check of a male laying face down on the road on the 00 block of Boston Avenue. The male was extremely intoxicated and had a traffic warrant for his arrest. He was taken to jail after a medical clearance. Cleared by arrest.
Assault
On Friday, July 21, 2017, at 8:49 pm, Longmont Police Officers responded to 1600 Hover St. on a physical assault in progress. The case is open.
Burglary
On Friday, July 21, 2017, at 9:04pm, a Longmont police Officer responded to the 1600 block of Northwestern Rd. on a burglary report. The case is closed.
Animal Complaint
On Friday, July 21, 2017, officers were dispatched to a report of a bat in a residence in the area of 6th and Terry Street. A bat had contact with an animal, unknown contact with the residents. A report was taken and Animal Control will follow up.
A man was bitten by a friend's cat. Unknown where this happened in Longmont.
Domestic Incident
On 07/21/2017, Longmont officers responded to the 1900 block of Yeager Dr. reference a domestic incident. Case is closed.
Arson
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 2:43 pm, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Collyer St on a report of an attempted arson that just occurred. It was later determined that the arson occurred at Spangler Park. This case is closed due to a lack of suspect leads.
Menacing
On Saturday, July 22, 2017,, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Hunter Court in reference to a menacing report. A 46 year old male was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.
Fraud
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, at approximately 6:47pm, Longmont Police officers were dispatched to 844 Ken Pratt Blvd (Starbucks) on the report of a fake $20.00. Case is closed.
Auto Theft
On Saturday, July 22, 2017, Longmont PD responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of S. Bowent St. A 1991 Honda Accord was stolen from the parking lot. The case is closed with no suspect information.
