Police Report: July 24, 2017

Criminal Mischief

A Longmont resident in the 1800 block of White Feather Drive reported damage to the siding of his home. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Blvd., reported an incident of vandalism. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

On July 23, 2017, at approximately 10:19 PM Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Grandview Meadows Drive on a criminal mischief. Four unknown males sprayed a fire extinguisher inside the building. Case closed.

Theft

A Thornton, CO, resident reported a theft of items from his boat while it was parked at Union Reservoir.

On 07/22/17 at 2:14  PM. a Longmont Police Officer responded to the 2500 block of sunset St. on a report of a stolen license plate. The case is closed.

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at 1:13  AM, a business in the 600 block of S Emery called to report a male trespassing inside the store. When contacted, the adult transient male was discovered to have stolen items in his possession. He was cited and released. Cleared by arrest (summons).

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at about 1:45  PM, Longmont Police took a report of a theft that occurred in the 3500 block of Lakeshore Drive. Case closed.

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at about 6:53 PM, Longmont Police took a report of a theft of a bicycle in the 1500 block of Easter Court. Officers recovered another bicycle that suspect left. Case closed.

Auto Theft

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at approximately 7:30 AM, officers responded to a call of a cold auto theft of a motorcycle in the 2500 block of Sunset Drive Longmont Colorado 80501. Police investigated on scene and a report was filed. Case closed.

Civil

The Longmont Police Department investigated a child custody/civil issue at the 2000 block of Hackberry Ci. Case is closed.

Harassment

On 07/22/17 at 2:08 PM a Longmont Police Officer took a harassment report by phone. The case is closed

Welfare Check

On July 22, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Venice Lane on a welfare check for a juvenile male who was reportedly making suicidal statements. This case is closed.

On Monday, July 24, 2017, Longmont police responded to 17th Ave and Pace St on an elderly female with dementia who had walked away from her home. She was contacted and taken to Longmont United Hospital where she was medically check and placed on a mental health hold.

Animal Complaint

A Longmont woman was bitten by her own dog. The dog was relinquished back to the humane society it was adopted from.

Warrant Arrest

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Police contacted an adult male on the 200 block of S Main St. The male was arrested on multiple active warrants and transported to jail.

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, Officers responded to the 300 block of Main Street reference a disturbance. A 27-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Case cleared by arrest.

On Sunday, July 23, 2017, an adult male was contacted in the area of 3rd Ave/Emery St for known outstanding Felony Warrants. He was placed into custody and later transported to Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at 2:20 PM, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a Longmont Municipal warrant at Longmont Municipal court.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On July 23, 2017, at approximately 11:50PM officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Industrial Circle, Old Chicago on a criminal trespass. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and took items from the vehicle. Case closed

Abandon/Parking

On Monday, July 24, 2017, Longmont Police observed a vehicle parked in the 900-block of Bross St that had a fictitious number plate attached to it for another vehicle. The license plate was seized and a ticket was issued. Case closed.

Domestic Incident

On July 17, 2017, Officers received a report of a violation of a custody order. After an investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained and an adult male was arrested. Cleared by arrest.

Sexual Exploitation of a Child

On Monday, July 24, 2017, the Longmont Police Department was called regarding a report of sexual exploitation of a child in the 1800 block of Ute Creek Drive. The case will be referred to detectives for follow up investigation.

Disturbance

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at about 6:12 PM hours Longmont Police were dispatched to the intersection of Shavano Street and Antero Drive on a report of a disturbance involving a juvenile male. Case closed.
