SHOPLIFT

On Thursday, July 27, 2017, the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to the 2000 Block of Main St. on report of a shoplift. This case is cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 07/27/2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 900 block of Kane Dr. reference a domestic disturbance. An adult male and an adult female were contacted. The adult female was arrested for Domestic Violence and Harassment. The female was later transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is closed.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 600 block of Peck Drive reported the theft of two (2) bikes from the bike rack outside her apartment building. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

BURGLARY

On 7/27/17 a Longmont, CO resident reported a burglary/theft that took place in the 800 block of Plateau Rd. The case was closed due to lack of suspect information.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported the theft of her cell phone from a bar in the 300 block of Main Street. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

A citizen brought a military munition into the Longmont Department of Public Safety lobby explaining that he found it in a ditch by his home. The citizen didn't know anything about it so the building was evacuated for safety and the bomb squad was called in to deal with the munition. It was eventually moved to a safe location and rendered safe by the bomb squad and military personnel. The case will be closed.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On July 26, 2017 the Longmont Police Department investigated a First Degree Criminal Trespass that occurred in the 1600 block of Pace St. This case is closed pending suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at approximately 1754 hours, officers responded to the 2200 block of Dexter Drive on a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers determined that an adult male had prevented his wife and three young daughters from leaving the residence after assaulting his wife. The male was placed under arrest and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 07/26/2017 Longmont Police contacted a wanted party in a vehicle near the 900 Block of Gay St. The adult male was placed into custody for a misdemeanor warrant and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.

CHILD

Officers were assigned a call regarding possible child abuse in the 1500 block of Kimbark Street. An adult female alleged persons related to her estranged husband had injured her juvenile male child. Officers will investigate further.

THEFT

On July 27, 2017 the Longmont Police Department took a report of trespass and theft. No suspect information at this time. Case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

The Longmont Police Department investigated a domestic incident at 50 19th Av #10. Case is open.

FOLLOW UP

On Thursday, 072717 at about 1230 hours officers made a warrant arrest in the 11000 block of South Ridge. An adult female was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On Thursday July 27, 2017 at approximately 1130 hours, Officer's responded to the 2200 Blk of Vivian St in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, for the report of a suspicious incident. An arrest was made, this case closed.

THEFT

On 07/27/2017 at about 1232 hours Officers responded to the 1600 block of Pace Street on a report of a shoplift where the suspect had fled the store upon contact with security. The 22 year old male was later contacted and issued and released on a summons for theft. Case cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On July 27th, 2017, an officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of 24th Ave. on the report of a disturbance. Three juvenile males and two adult males were contacted and two of the males were issued summonses after a brief investigation. The case is cleared by arrest.

PROTECTION ORDER

On Thursday, July 27th, 2017, at approximately 1800 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to contact a female party by phone reference a possible restraining order violation. Police contacted an adult female. The case is closed.

AUTO THEFT

On 7/27/17, a report was taken of a vehicle stolen from the 2700 block of Nelson Rd. There are no current suspects. This case is closed.

THEFT

On 7/26/17, a Longmont resident reported the theft of her package in the 2000 Block of Sunset Way.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 07/26/17, a Lafayette resident reported a damaged car rear windshield in the 800 block of S Sherman St. in Longmont, CO.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, 07/27/2017, officers were dispatched to a suspicious male entering multiple garages in the area of the 600 block of Saint Andrews Drive. Officers were able to identify the male who was later contact and taken into custody without incident.
