Fire

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 3:56am, Longmont Police investigated a trash fire in the 200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.

Fraud

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, a report was taken reference a fraud which occurred in the 1600 Blk. of Gay St. The case is under investigation.

Death

On Monday, July 3, 2017, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Vivian St on a medical assist. Officers completed a death investigation in reference to an adult male. The case is closed.

Theft

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Ln. An unidentified male is suspect. Case closed.

On Monday, July 3, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a stolen purse. A citizen forgot her purse outside in front of a local business and left home without it. The purse was taken by an unknown person. This case is closed due to no suspect leads.

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 3:23am, Longmont Police investigated a bicycle theft in the 500 block of Main Street, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 1600 block of Pace St. No suspects identified as of yet. Case open.

Other Agency Assist

On Monday, July 3, 2017, the Longmont Police Department contacted a vehicle which was parked and unattended in the 1600 block of Main Street. The vehicle had fictitious plates displayed and was associated with a hit and run investigation out of the Aurora Police Department. The vehicle was towed and impounded at the request of Aurora PD. This case is closed.

Criminal Mischief

On Monday, July 3, 2017 at about 5:48pm Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Main Street on a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival Officers found someone had spray painted on a utility box. Case closed.

Disturbance

On Monday, July 3, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1000 blk of 16th Ave for a disturbance. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail Cleared by arrest.

Auto Theft

On Monday, July 3, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a vehicle theft from the 900 block of south Bross Street. This case is closed due to no suspect leads.

Shots Heard

On Monday, July 3, 2017, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 600 block of East Rogers Road in reference to a report of shots heard. The case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.

Arson

On Monday, July 3, 2017, at approximately 11:12pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Amherst Dr in reference to a large fire caused by fireworks. Two adults were contacted and referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership.

Menacing

On July 3, 2017 at 11:45pm, officers were dispatched to a call of a menacing with a knife at the 100 block of Marshall Pl in Longmont. An adult male was arrested. Case cleared by arrest.

Sex Assault

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 1:37am hours a Longmont Police Officer took a report of sexual exploitation of a child in the 1700 block of Preston Drive in the city of Longmont. This case is open and referred to Longmont Police Detective Division for follow up.

Shoplift

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a theft from a business in the 2200 block of E. Ken Pratt Blvd. An unidentified male is suspect. Case closed.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at approximately 9:30am Longmont Police investigated a vehicle trespass in the 700 block of Atwood St. Unknown suspects entered a vehicle and stole a wallet containing identification, cash and credit cards. This case is closed due to the lack of suspect leads.

Vicious Dog

A juvenile was bitten by a family friend's dog in Longmont. The dog was quarantined at home.

Disturbance

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at approximately 10:21pm a resident called in a physical fight between several males on the street of the 100 block of Bowen Street. This case is closed due no suspect information.
