Child

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 The Longmont Police Department responded on a child welfare call. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation and interviews were completed. At this time, charges have not been filed. This case will remain open for additional follow up. Case Status is Open.

Criminal Mischief

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, Longmont Police took a report of criminal mischief in the 1600 block of Geneva Cir. No suspect leads at this time. Case closed.

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, Longmont Police took a report of criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Nelson Rd. No suspects leads at this time. Case open.

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 Officers were dispatched to assist Firestone Police Department via phone on a call in reference to a criminal mischief that occurred on the 2500 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. This case is under investigation.

Noise

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 4:11 pm Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of 17th Avenue on a report of loud music. Upon arrival, officers could hear the music and attempted to contact an adult male inside the apartment. The adult male was uncooperative and the information was given to management for the apartment complex. Case open.

Theft

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, a report was taken of stolen license plates in the 200 block of E. 8th Ave. The case is closed.

Welfare Check

On Tuesday, July 04, 2017, at approximately 6:11 pm, officers were dispatched to the lobby of the Longmont Police Department at 225 Kimbark Street to check the welfare of an adult male who believes he is Jesus. The male did not meet the criteria for a mental health hold and continued on his way. A report was completed to document the contact. The case is closed.

Domestic Incident

On July 4, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1500 block of S. Terry St. reference a disturbance between an adult male and an adult female. The adult female was arrested on scene for domestic violence related charges and child abuse. The female was later transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is closed.

On July 5, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1600 blk of Hover St on a domestic in progress call. None of the associated parties were able to be contacted. Case is closed.

On July 4, 2017, officers took a report of a possible tampering in the area of the 300 block of National Pl. Case is open to detectives for further follow-up.

Theft

On July 4, 2017, a 63-year-old male reported someone stole his tent that he was camping in along the St Vrain River near Golden Ponds.

On July 4, 2017, at about 9:47 pm, Longmont Police took a report of a theft that occurred in the 1400 block of Lamplighter Drive. Case open.

On 6/28/2017 the Longmont Police Department took a report of theft by the daughter of the victims. This case is under investigation.

Warrant Arrest

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at about 9:44 pm Longmont Police were in the 2500 block of Main Street looking for a person involved in a theft. Officers contacted an adult male who had a warrant for his arrest. The male was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at approximately 8:11 am Longmont Police conducted a welfare check on a male subject passed out on the sidewalk at Loomiller Park. The male was an intoxicated juvenile who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was transported to a hospital for a medical clearance, and eventually to the Boulder County Juvenile Center.

On July 5, 2017, Longmont Police arrested an adult female at the 200 block of South Main St. for an active warrant.

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Terry St on the report of a verbal disturbance. Upon contacting a male and a female, both had outstanding warrants and were taken into custody and later transported to the Boulder County Jail. Social Services was contacted reference a small child at the house.

Missing Person

On July 4, 2017, a juvenile female was reported as a runaway. The female was located and the case is closed.

On July 4, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of 21st Ave on the report of a juvenile who ran away. The juvenile was located by the mother. Case closed

Arson

On July 5, 2017, at 12:33 pm, police and fire responded to a dumpster fire in the 2200 block of Emery Street. It was determined the most likely cause was trash debris from fireworks was placed in the metal dumpster and caught fire. No structures were damaged. The matter is closed.

Protection Order

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to a residence in the eastern part of town, reference a disturbance. Upon arrival an interview and on-scene investigation was completed. The suspect, an adult male, was arrested on Violation of Protection Order. Charges. Case Status is Arres, adult male.

FDC/Crim Trespass

On July 5, 2017, the Longmont Police investigated the theft of electronics from two vehicles at a residence. There were no suspects or evidence. The case is closed.

Fraud

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, a report was taken reference an identity theft which did not occur in Longmont. The case is closed.

Shoplift

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Hover St for a shoplifting progress. An adult male was issued a summons for theft. Case was cleared by arrest.

Disturbance

On Wednesday July 5th, 2017, at approximately 6:00 pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the parking lot of the police department reference a physical fight involving a chain. Police contacted two adult males. The case is cleared by arrest. Summons issued.

Vicious Dog

On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Bistre St. on a report of a dog bite. The dog has been quarantined and the case is open.
