Criminal Mischief
On Friday, July 07, 2017, Longmont Police responded to Stephen Day Park located in the 1300 blk of Deerwood Dr on a report of smoke coming out of the park bathroom. Upon arrival, Officers discovered two fireworks had been lit inside of the bathroom. Case is closed due to a lack of suspect information.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, police responded to a criminal mischief at the 1400 block of Baker St. The incident was investigated and later closed due to lack of evidence.
DUI
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the area of Mt View Ave and Airport Rd on an injury accident. An adult female was believed to be driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol. She was taken into custody and released on a summons.
Burglary
On Friday, July 07, 2017, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of break-in in the 1300 block of S Main St. After arrival Officers contacted the manager who stated a window was broken out of the building and several items of merchandise was taken from inside. There are no workable leads or suspect information. Case closed.
Auto Theft
On Friday, July 07, 2017, at 3:55 pm. a Longmont Police Officer took an auto theft report by phone. The case is closed.
Suspicious Situation
On Friday, July 07, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 600 block of S. Airport Rd. reference a possible harassment/elder abuse. The incident was investigated and later closed due to lack of evidence.
Theft
On Friday, July 7, 2017, Longmont Police responded on a theft report in the 2100 block of Collyer St. A report was taken and the case is closed.
Warrant Arrest
On Friday, July 07, 2017, at 6:49 pm. Longmont Police Officers responded to the Walmart located at 2514 Main St. reference a wanted party sitting in a black Chevy Aveo in the parking lot. Two wanted parties were contacted and taken into custody on active warrants. Case was cleared by arrest.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, at approximately 3:41 am police conducted an extra patrol in the 600 block Collyer Street. An adult male was arrested on warrant and issued a summons for being in the park after hours. The case is cleared by arrest.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, at approximately 8:44 pm, the Longmont Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle at N 89th St and Nelson Rd. An adult female was arrested on a warrant and charged with traffic offenses. This case is cleared by arrest.
Information
On Friday, July 07, 2017, the Longmont Police Department took an informational report regarding an animal complaint which occurred in the 800 block of Meeker Street. A 41-year-old male had thrown a bowl into a yard when his dogs did not stop barking. The dogs were checked and were healthy, uninjured and were not distressed at the residence. This report was taken for informational purposes only.
Assault
On Friday, July 07, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated an assault which occurred in the 500 block of Main Street. A 27 year old female assaulted a 30-year-old female. This case is under investigation.
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, the Longmont Police Department took a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Main Street. Four adult females were mutually combative inside an establishment and an adult male employee of the establishment who was breaking up the fight was assaulted. None of the parties involved wanted to pursue charges in this matter. Case exceptionally cleared.
Domestic Incident
On Saturday, July 8, 2017, Longmont officers investigated a domestic incident in the 900 block of 19th Avenue. An adult female and male were involved in an altercation. This case is Open and under investigation.
FDC/CRIM Trespass
On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, Longmont Police took a phone call regarding a vehicle break-in on the 400 block of Verdant Cir. There are no suspects and the case is closed.
Welfare Check
On Saturday, July 8, 2017, Longmont Police responded to a welfare check. An adult female was placed on a mental health hold and transported to the hospital. This case is closed.
