Police Report: June 12, 2017

Theft

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 300 block of 11th Avenue reported tires were stolen from a donated vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

Fraud

On June 11, 2017 Longmont Police investigated a fraud case in which a female had a credit card taken out in her name and the outstanding balance was being collected by a collection agency. Case is being referred to detectives for further follow up.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, June 12, 2017, an adult female resident of Longmont was contacted in the 1800 block of Redtop Ct and found to have a Boulder County warrant. She was arrested, posted bond, and returned to her vehicle. The matter is cleared by arrest.

Sex Assault

On Monday, June 12, 2017, The Longmont Police Department took a report of a Sexual Assault involving a juvenile female and juvenile male, from the Boulder County Department of Health and Human Services. At this time there is additional follow up needed. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up. Case Status is Open

On Monday, June 12, 2017, at approximately 6:15pm, officers talked to a witness regarding a possible sex assault that occurred on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Longmont. The witness provided the victim's name and information about the incident. The case is open and being forwarded to investigations for follow up.

On Monday, June 12, 2017, at approximately 12:02am, Longmont Police were dispatched to a report of a possible kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred on 06/09/17 near Quebec Ave and S Emery St. The report will be forwarded to Detectives for follow up.

Criminal Mischief

On Monday, June 12, 2017, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 1800 block of Emery St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

On Monday, June 12, 2017, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 1200 block of Kimbark St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

On Monday, June 12, 2017, Officers responded to the 1100 block of 21st on a report of a criminal mischief. Upon investigation, a small hole was found in a panel of a garage door. Due to lack of suspect information the case will be closed.

Protection Order

On Monday, June 12, 2017 at about 4:51pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hilltop Drive to assist medical personnel with an unconscious male. Upon arrival officers found the adult male was ok but intoxicated. The male was arrested for violation of a protection order and transported to the Boulder County Jail.
