Police Report: June 14, 2017

FDC/Crime Trespass On 06/12/2017, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Grant St., reference a criminal trespass complaint. Unknown person(s) unlawfully entered a construction trailer, and stole items of value from within.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On 06/12/2017, Longmont Police responded to the 200 block of Grant St., reference a criminal trespass complaint. Unknown person(s) unlawfully entered a construction trailer, and stole items of value from within. At this time there are no suspects or leads, and the case will be closed.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 9:45am, Longmont Police took a report of a vehicle trespass occurring in the 1400 block of Emery St. Unknown suspects entered a vehicle and stole a wallet from within. This case is closed due to the lack of evidence and suspect information.

A Longmont resident in the 2300 block of Watersong Circle reported an unknown person illegally entered her unlocked vehicle and stole items from inside. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Criminal Mischief

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 6:27am, Longmont Police took a report of a criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 1100 block of Tulip St. A possible suspect has been identified. This case is open pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, a report was taken reference a criminal mischief which occurred in the 900 block of Pratt St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 7:18pm, officers were dispatched to Sandstone Ranch on a report of criminal mischief. It was reported that juveniles had spray painted the rocks along the walking trail. The juveniles were not located and the case is closed.

A Longmont resident in the 600 block of Kimbark Street reported his unlocked vehicle was illegally entered, and the interior damaged, while the vehicle was parked in the alleyway behind his residence. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, an officer was dispatched to Longmont Municipal Probation Department at the 200 block of Kimbark St. to arrest a juvenile with a warrant. The juvenile was arrested, booked, and released to his parent. The case is cleared by arrest.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 2:04am, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Main St in reference to a medical alarm. An adult male was contacted and arrested on an active warrant. No medical situation was located in the area.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, Officers arrested an adult female on two outstanding warrants out of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, in the 1300 block of Martin St. Case cleared by arrest.

The Longmont Police Department arrested an adult male on a probation detainer at the 1000 block of Kimbark St. Cleared by arrest.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at approximately 11:50am, Officer's responded to the 10 block of 9th Ave for the report of a cold harassment. A warrant arrest made. This case is closed.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Kimbark Street in reference to a probation detainer. A 34 year old male was taken into custody. Case cleared by arrest.

Fraud

On Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 officers investigated a fraud in the 1400 block of Coffman Street. A report was written and forwarded to detectives to follow-up. The case will remain open.

Burglary

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 Officers responded to the 200 block of Caywood Ct in response to a disturbance. A were in an altercation. A 27 year old female and a 51 year old female were arrested. Case cleared by arrest.

Hit and Run Accident

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Emery St for a suspicious situation. An adult male was issued a summons for multiple traffic infractions. Case cleared by arrest.

Injury Accident

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at approximately 9:33pm, officers responded to an injury accident at Boston Avenue and Main Street involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. A vehicle making a left turn onto Main Street, struck a motorcycle traveling northbound. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Longmont United Hospital for a broken leg and hand. The driver of the vehicle was issued a summons and released at the scene. The case is closed.

Abandon/Parking

At approximately 1:04am on Wednesday, 06/14/17, Longmont Police contacted an abandoned vehicle in the 1400 block of Missouri Ave after receiving a complaint from a resident. The vehicle had a fictitious license plate and registration tab attached and the illegal items were seized and logged into evidence. The case is closed.

Domestic Incident

On June 14, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Main St on a domestic in progress. Two elderly adult parties were contacted and it was determine that no crime was committed. Case is closed.

Medical Assist

The Longmont Police Department assisted Longmont Fire with a medical assist. The subject was placed on a Mental Health Hold, (M-1), as he was in medical distress. Case is closed.

Death

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at about 5:27pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Dearwood Drive on a report of an unresponsive adult male. Officers found the male passed away from natural causes.

Sex Assault

On Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at about 7:49pm, Longmont Police took a report of a sex assault that occurred in the 2400 block of 9th Avenue.
