Police Report: June 17, 2017

Vicious Dog On June 15, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Bowen St on the report of an aggressive animal. An adult male was bitten on his fingers. The owner of the dog has yet to be identified. Case is open.

Vicious Dog

On June 15, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Bowen St on the report of an aggressive animal. An adult male was bitten on his fingers. The owner of the dog has yet to be identified. Case is open.

A dog was injured by a neighbor's dog in a fence incident between the two dogs.

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, officers responded to the 2300 block of Mountain View Ave, on a report of a vicious dog. Upon investigation, it was found that two dogs were not registered in the city of Longmont. The owner was issued a summons. Case is cleared by an arrest.

Medical Assist

On Friday June 16, 2017 at approximately 12:30pm officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Fall River Cir reference an adult female who was found unconscious and not breathing. The female was transported to Longmont United Hospital. A report was taken for informational purposes.

Hit and Run Accident

On Friday, 06/16/17, Longmont Police took a hit and run report that occurred in the area of S Main Street, north of Pike Road. One driver stated a vehicle passed him in the center median and then cut him off striking the side of his vehicle. That person then failed to stop and drove off. This case is still under investigation.

Suicide Attempt

On June 17, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Sante Fe Drive on a suicide attempt. An adult female was transported to the hospital and placed on a mental health hold after intentionally overdosing on prescription medications. This case is closed.

Domestic Incident

On June 17, 2017, officers responded to the 300 block of Kimbark on a report of a Domestic Incident in progress. Upon investigation, it was found the male was in violation of a protection order and left prior to officers arriving. A warrant will be applied for. Case is open.

Warrant Arrest

On June 16, 2017, at approximately 4pm, Longmont Police officers were dispatched to 225 Kimbark St (Longmont Police department) on a wanted party in the lobby. A juvenile male was contacted and arrested on his warrant. Case is closed, cleared by arrest.

On June 17, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 00 block of Snowmass Place on a noise complaint. An adult female was contacted and found to have a felony warrant for her arrest. This case is cleared by arrest.

Weapon

On June 16,2017 officers responded to the 2400 Block of Sunset Dr. on a report of a weapons violation. Upon investigation, probable cause could not be established a crime had been committed. Case is closed.

DUI

On Saturday, June 17, 2017 at approximately 1:48am, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop near E 5th Ave and Martin St. The vehicle did not immediately yield to officers. The vehicle eventually stopped and one adult male was arrested for DUI without further incident. Case cleared by arrest

Traffic Stop

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, Longmont Police made a traffic stop at the 1600 block of Pace Street. The driver was cited for traffic offenses. This case was cleared by arrest - summons issued.

Auto Theft

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, officers took a report of a stolen auto from the 900 block of Wolf Creek Dr.

Attempt to Locate

On Saturday, June 17, 2017 Longmont Police responded to 2300 block of Santa Fe Dr on a probation detainer. A juvenile male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Juvenile Detention. Case is closed.

Sex Assault

On Saturday June 17th, 2017, at approximately 4:30pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to make a phone call reference possible sex assault. Police contacted an adult female. The case has been forwarded to detectives for follow up. Open.

Criminal Mischief

On Saturday June 17, 2017 the Longmont Police Department took a criminal mischief. Two tires on a vehicle had been "Slashed." The case is closed with no suspect information.
