Auto Theft

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, officers spotted a vehicle reported stolen out of Weld County in the area of 9th and Lashley. The vehicle eluded attempts to stop the vehicle, but an officer was able to see the driver and make a positive identification. The car was located about an hour later a block from the teen suspect's home, and the teen male was arrested. Cleared by arrest.

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Longmont Police took a report of an auto theft that occurred in the 900 block of Tenacity Dr. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.

Hit and Run Accident

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the area of County Line Rd and 17th Ave. A vehicle was driven off the road and abandoned. The case is closed due to lack of leads.

Disturbance

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Longmont Police responded to a disturbance at Union Reservoir concerning a potential road rage issue. Both parties were contacted. There was not enough information to form charges against either party. This report is for informational purposes only.

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 800 block of 1st Ave to the report of a possible disturbance between two males. A report was taken for informational purposes and the case is closed.

Animal Complaint

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, at 7:41pm, a Longmont Police Officer responded to Longmont United Hospital on a report of an animal bite. The dog was placed under quarantine.

DUI

On Friday, June 16, 2017, at approximately 11:27pm, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of S Hover St. A juvenile male was arrested for DUI and was transported to the Longmont PD for booking.

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, Longmont Officers conducted a traffic stop near Hwy 66 and WCR1. One adult male was taken into custody for DUI. Case cleared by arrest-summons.

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, at approximately 1:40am, the Longmont Police Department responded on a multi-vehicle crash in the 700 block of Baker St. One adult female was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

Harassment

On Saturday, June 17, 2017 at approximately 11:17pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to a reported assault that occurred in the 1300 block of S Coffman St earlier in the evening. The case is open.

Criminal Mischief

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Lashley on a report of criminal mischief. Two males threw rocks threw a window. The case is closed due to lack of leads.

On Sunday, June 18,2017 , Officers responded to the 3000 block of E Ken Pratt Blvd on a report of a first degree criminal mischief. Upon investigation it was found that items were stolen out of a car. Case will be closed due to no suspect leads.

Domestic Incident

On June 18, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 600 block of Main St on the report of a domestic violence incident. An adult female reported being assaulted by her boyfriend. An adult male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On June 18, 2017 Longmont Police responded to Sandstone park to investigate a first degree criminal trespass. No suspect information was available and the case is closed.

Burglary

On Sunday, June 18, 2017 at approximately 2:42pm, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 400 block of Barnard Ct on a report of a disturbance. This incident was later determined to be a burglary. An adult female was later arrested. This case is cleared by arrest.

Warrant Arrest

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Staghorn. Upon investigation, it was found that the male driver of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest. Case cleared by arrest.

On Sunday, June 18, 2017 at about 6:37pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Merl Place on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrested an adult male on 2 active warrants out of the Longmont Police Department. The male was transported to the Longmont Police Department to be booked and he bonded out.

Welfare Check

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, at approximately 8:15pm, officers were checking the welfare of a female resident at the 600 block of Peck Drive when the residents dog attacked another dog. The female was issued a summons for an aggressive animal. The case is cleared by arrest.

Suicide Attempt

On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Longmont Police responded on a possible domestic incident in the 1700 block of Spruce Ave. An elderly male was put on a mental health hold. The case is closed.
