Theft

On Monday, June 26, 2017 a report was taken reference a theft of an at risk adult. The case is under investigation.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 1400 block of Stuart St. A report was taken and the case is closed with no suspect or leads.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 the Longmont Police Department took a report of a theft which occurred in the 300 block of Main Street. An adult male suspect stole a wallet and the contents from at 21 year old female. This case is under investigation.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 600 block of Peck Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

Vicious Dog

A Longmont woman's dog was attacked by a loose dog. The owner was located and warned.

Warrant Arrest

On June 26, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to an intoxicated male in the 900 block of Main Street who was yelling and throwing items at passing motorists. The male was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

Criminal Mischief

On 6/23/17, officers responded to the area of 700 block of E 5th Ave on the report of someone banging on doors in the area. Damage to a door was located. The homeowner was not able to provide descriptions. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

On June 25, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Dry Creek Drive on a report of criminal mischief. Five vehicles were found to have had their tires slashed while parked and unattended, and an additional eight vehicles were also found vandalized in the nearby area. There are currently no suspects in this case.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at 3:15 PM while investigating a series of car fires, Longmont Police discovered fire damage to a 1981 Toyota pickup that was parked in the 500 block of Kimbark Street. The fire damage was consistent to arson. This case is believed to be associated to five other car fires that occurred between 2:30 AM through 3:30 AM on 06/26/17. Case is open.

DUI

On June 25, 2017, the Longmont Police Department contacted a driver passed out behind the wheel of a car in the roadway at Dry Creek Drive and Clover Basin Drive. The male driver was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol as well as illegal drugs. He was arrested and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is cleared by arrest.

Animal Complaint

A dog was video taped loose and defecating in a yard. The dog owner was issued a summons.

Injury Accident

On Sunday, June 25, 2017 Longmont Police responded to an injury accident in the intersection of E. 5th Ave and Pace St. A male was transported to the hospital. Case is closed.

Harassment

On Sunday, June 25, 2017, at approximately 10:09pm, Longmont Police received a call from the a business in the 2oo-block of S Main St, in reference to a customer who was drunk and was refusing to leave. An adult male was contacted and issued a summons.

Suicide Attempt

On June 25, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to a suicidal party in the 1200 block of Kimbark Street. A juvenile female admitted to suicidal ideation and was transported to a hospital for a mental health hold. Case closed.

Domestic Incident

On June 25, 2017, at approximate 11:25pm, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Sherri Mar Street on the report of a disturbance. An adult male was transported to a hospital for a mental health hold . Case closed.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at approximately 1:15am, Longmont Police responded to a domestic incident in the 1400 block of Kimbark St. Longmont, CO. Upon further investigation, one juvenile male was arrested on domestic violence charges and resisting arrest. Case cleared by arrest.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 2100 block of Sherri Mar St. to the report of a possible domestic incident. A report was taken and the case is open and under investigation.

Drug Violation

On Monday, June 26, 2017 officers responded to the UPS distribution point regarding two boxes with marijuana in them. The sender and recipient are not local to Longmont. The marijuana was seized and a report taken. This case is closed.

Arson

Officers responded to the 400 block of Main St on a report of a fire in a dumpster. Upon arrival officers found a 15 yard roll off dumpster completely engulfed in flames. Fire Department responded and put the fire out. Case is open pending further investigation.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 officers responded to the 400 block of 6th Ave on a vehicle on fire. This case is under investigation and still open.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to an arson in the 700 block of Baker Street. An unknown suspect set fire to several vehicles in the area. This case is open.

On Monday, June 26, 2017 at approximately 3:18am, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of Longs Peak Ave and Baker St, Longmont, in reference to a vehicle on fire. The investigation is open at this time.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On Monday, June 26, 2017 at approximately 3:18am, Longmont Police were dispatched to the area of Longs Peak Ave and Baker St, Longmont, in reference to a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, another vehicle was found to have been trespassed into. The investigation is open at this time.

Auto Theft

A Longmont resident in the 2100 block of Dexter Drive reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

A Longmont resident in the 1200 block of S. Coffman Street reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Graffiti

A St. Vrain Valley Schools employee reported an incident of vandalism at Skyline High School, 600 E. Mountain View Avenue. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

Death

On Monday, June 26, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 2300 block of 9th Ave reference a death investigation. An elderly male was found deceased in his home. There were no suspicious circumstances and the case is closed.

Other Agency Assist

On Monday, June 26, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1000 block of Grant St. to the report of a possible stolen dirt bike. The dirt bike was recovered and the case is closed.

Disturbance

On Monday, June 26, 2017 at about 5:52pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the intersection of Francis Street and 17th Avenue on a report of road rage. Upon arrival Officers arrested an adult male for 3rd degree assault and menacing.

Assault

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at approximately 8pm, officers were contacted by an adult female who wanted to report that she had been assaulted on Saturday, June 24, in the 500 block of  Emery Street.

Lost Property

On Monday, June 26, 2017, the Longmont Police Department investigated a theft of a license plate in the 2200 block of Main St. This case is closed.

Protection Order

On Monday, June 26, 2017 at approximately 10:12pm, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 3000 block of 17th Ave on a reported domestic related protection order violation. Case is open.
