Police Report: June 7, 2017

Warrant Arrest On 06/07/17 the Longmont Police Department responded to 1340 Deerwood Drive, Steven Day Park, reference two transients camping in the park. Upon arrival, both males were contacted.

Warrant Arrest

On 06/07/17 the Longmont Police Department responded to 1340 Deerwood Drive, Steven Day Park, reference two transients camping in the park. Upon arrival, both males were contacted. One adult male was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The adult male was arrested and transported to the Longmont Police Department for booking. He was later transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case Status is Arrest.

Protection Order

On Wednesday, 06/07/17, The Longmont Police Department responded to a residence on the east side of town, reference a Protection Order Violation. Detectives completed an investigation and a juvenile male was taken into custody. The juvenile male was arrested, transported to the Longmont Police Department and will be transported to the Boulder County Juvenile Detention Center. Case Status is Arrest.

Fraud

On Wednesday, 06/07/17, a report was taken reference an identity theft and theft which occurred in the 300 blockĀ of Kimbark St. The case is under investigation.

FDC/Crime Trespass

On Wednesday, 06/07/17, The Longmont Police Department responded to a residence in the south end of town, reference a vehicle break in. Upon arrival, an on-scene investigation and interview was completed. At this time, there is no further information to follow up on. Case Status is Closed

Drunk

On Wednesday June 7, 2017 at approximately 2:07pm, Officer's responded to the 600 blockĀ of 19th Ave near Main St for the report of a drunk pedestrian. An arrest was made. This case is closed.

Sex Assault

On June 7, 2017, Officers were dispatched to handle a sex assault via phone with a 17 year old female victim. This case is under investigation.

On June 06, 2017 Officers responded to the 1200 block of Venice Street for a report of unlawful sexual contact on a 56 year old female. This case was unfounded.

Death Investigation

On June 7, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Sunset Way on the report of a female who overdosed. The female was contacted and transported to Longmont United Hospital where she was placed on a mental health hold.

Hit and Run Accident

On Saturday, 06/03/17, Longmont Police took a hit and run accident report involving an RTD Bus and a Ford Fiesta sedan. This case is still under investigation.

Theft

An employee at a Longmont business in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard reported a theft of merchandise by a former employee. The case remains open pending additional follow-up.

On Wednesday, 06/07/17, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in on Vassar Ct. The case is closed as the suspects are unknown.

Vicious Dog

A Longmont woman reported a neighbor's dog was loose and attacked her dog in the 1700 block of Cook Court. The investigation is still in progress.

A Longmont woman was bitten by the family dog while breaking up a dog fight in the 1900 block of Wildrose Drive. The dog was euthanized.

Menacing

On 04/17/17, officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a gun in the 600 block of Martin St. Case is open for further investigation.

DUI

On Tuesday, 06/06/17 at approximately 11:30pm, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Atwood St for a welfare check. An adult female was arrested for DUI and was later taken to the Boulder County Jail.

Drug Violation

On June 7, 2017 at approximately 1:26am, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Street on a narcotics violation. An adult female was arrested. The case was cleared by arrest.

Domestic Incident

On Wednesday June 7, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 600 block of Lashley St on an outside agency assist. The report is for information only.

Suicide Attempt

On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at about 4:13pm, Longmont Police assisted Longmont Fire and AMR with an adult female in the 1500 block of Atwood Street who had drank Pine-Sol. The adult female was transported to Longmont United Hospital.

Identity Theft

A Longmont resident in the 1400 block of Emery Street reported an unknown person used her 14 year old daughter's social security number to gain employment. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
