Auto Theft

On Monday, May 15, 2017, a report was taken reference a motor vehicle theft which occurred in the 2500 block of Sunset Dr. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

On Monday, May 15th, 2017, at approximately 8:35pm, officers were contacted by an adult male regarding his vehicle. The male stated that he parked his vehicle in a parking lot in the 800 block of South Hover on Sunday, May 14th, and when he returned the next day the vehicle was no longer there. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.

On May 14, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 800 block of E 5th Ave to investigate an attempted auto theft. No suspect information was available. This case is closed.

A Longmont resident in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue reported his vehicle stolen. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

FDC/Crime Trespassing

On Monday, May 15, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 1200 block of Winslow Circle reference a vehicle trespass. There is no suspect information and the case is closed.

On Monday, May 15, 2017, officers responded to the 900 block of Lashley Street on a cold FDC. A report was written and the case is closed.

Fraud

Officers opened an investigation into an adult male committing identity theft and criminal impersonation over several years in Boulder County. The case is open.

Warrant Arrest

On Monday, May 15, 2017, a Boulder County Probation Officer had a detainer for a Juvenile male for failing to comply with terms of his Probation. The Juvenile male was contacted at his residence and taken into custody. The Juvenile male was transported to the Longmont United Hospital for a medical clearance. The Juvenile male will be transported to the Juvenile Detention Center. Case Status is Arrest, juvenile male.

On Monday, May 15, 2017, responded to the 1500 block of 14th Ave, reference an attempt to locate. A juvenile female was contacted and cleared. The juvenile female had a warrant from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. The juvenile female was arrested and transported to Boulder County Juvenile Detention. The case is cleared by arrest.

Theft

On Monday, May 15, 2017, Longmont Police received a call from a local restaurant in the 100 block of Ken Pratt Blvd., reference a reported theft. The manager advised a known adult female had dined at the restaurant, but was unable to pay for her meal. The female advised she would return the next day to pay the bill, but never returned.

On Saturday, May 13th, 2017, Longmont Officers took a theft report on the 1400 block of Main. An adult male took an adult female's purse. Case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

A Longmont resident in the 1500 block of Gay Street reported the rear license plate was stolen from his vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

Sex Assault

On Monday, May 15, 2017, officers investigated an Unlawful Sexual Contact in the 2100 block of Dexter Dr. Case is open pending further investigation.

SWAT Call Out

On 5/5/17, Members of the Longmont SWAT Team responded with the Boulder County SWAT Team to assist the Larimer County SWAT Team with a barricade in Estes Park. This report is for information only.

Drug Violation

On 5/12/17, Police issued a juvenile female a summons for having marijuana at school. The school disciplined her and and contacted her parents. The case is closed.

Vicious Dog

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, a Longmont male was bitten by a dog while trying to break up a dog fight.

Domestic Incident

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Summer Hawk Dr on a report of a domestic violence incident. An adult male was arrested. The case is cleared by arrest.

Assault

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, an officer spoke to an adult female resident of Dacono while she was at the hospital. She reported having hurt her back during an incident at a home in the 700 block of Busch Street. The matter was documented for information purposes only and is closed.

Criminal Mischief

On Monday, May 15, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to the 00 block of Mountain View Avenue on a vehicle trespass and theft. This case is open.

Death

On Monday, May 15, 2017, the Longmont Police Department and the Boulder County Coroner, conducted a joint death investigation in northwest Longmont. Case is closed.

On Monday, May 15, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Terry St on a medical assist. An investigation was conducted. This report is information only, case closed.

Child Abuse

On Monday, May 15, 2017, officers investigated a report of a child abuse in the 1700 block of Antero Dr. The case is closed as there is no probable cause to believe a crime occurred at this time. Case to be referred to Boulder County DHHS for their information.
