IDENTITY THEFT
On May 22, 2018 an identity theft report was received from the 600 block of Martin Street. An adult female was contacted who stated an unknown person had used her Social Security number. There are is no suspect information. Case closed.
WEAPON
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 0017 hours, Longmont Police responded to a shoplifting in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard, Longmont.
WARRANT ARREST
On Tuesday, 05/22/18 at approximately 0502 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 900-block of Reynolds Farm Lane for a welfare check. An adult female was later arrested for active warrants on 17th Ave in relation to this call. The female was later released to medical care at a hospital due to injuries sustained prior to police contact.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On May 22, 2018 a vehicle trespass report was received from the 200 block of E 8th Street. An adult male reported his vehicle was entered and his wallet was stolen from inside. Case is under investigation.
THEFT
A juvenile female entered an unlocked locker at school and removed a backpack. She took it to the restroom and went through it stealing several items and left the backpack in the restroom. She was contacted and the items were recovered and she was issued a summons for theft.
FDC/CRIM TRESPASS
On Tuesday, 05/22/18, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred in the 3600 Blk. of Sunflower Ct. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.
FRAUD
On May 22, 2018 a fraud report was received from the 1700 block of Main Street. An adult female was contacted who reported a customer presented an altered prescription to the pharmacist. Case is under investigation.
THEFT
On Thursday, 5/17/18, Longmont Police took a report of a theft in the 1000 block of Sunset St. The case will be closed due to lack of suspect information.
FRAUD
On Tuesday, 05/22/18, a report was taken reference a forgery which occurred in the 1500 Blk. of Harlequin Dr. The case is under investigation.
THEFT
On 05/22/18, the Longmont Police Department was notified about a stolen AR-15 style rifle taken from the 1200 block of Sherman Dr. No suspects were identified and the case is closed.
HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 2135 hours, Longmont Police investigated a hit and run traffic accident in the 900 block of South Hover Street, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On 05/16/2018 at approximately 1500 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Pace St. in response to a criminal mischief. This case is open.
DISTURBANCE
On Wednesday, 05/16/2018 at approximately 1600 hours, Officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Main St. on a disturbance, no charges will be filed in this case. Case closed.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT
On Tuesday, 5/15/18, Longmont Police took a traffic complete involving a juvenile male illegally passing a school bus on the right. This male was later identified and later issued a ticket.
BURGLARY
On Monday May 21, 2018 at approximately 0915 hours an officer took a report of a break in to a storage container in the 900 block of Hover St. The case is closed due to a lack of workable leads.
HARASSMENT
On Monday, 5/22/18, a Longmont Police Officer took a report of harassment/stalking related behavior in the 1600 block of Mount Evans Dr. The case is open.
THEFT
On May 21, 2018 a theft report was received from the 400 block of 4th Street. An adult male was contacted who reported his phone was stolen. There is no suspect information. Case closed.
TRESPASS
On Monday, May 21, 2018, four Longmont residents were issued summons for trespassing in the 11000 block of Sugarmill Road. This case is cleared by arrest
VICIOUS DOG
A juvenile female was bitten by the family dog in the 1000 block of Fordham Street. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.
DUI
On Monday, 05/21/18 at approximately 2226 hours, Longmont Police conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Pace St. An adult male was arrested for DUI and other charges. The male was later transported to the Boulder County Jail.
ASSAULT
On Tuesday 05/22/2018 at 0700 hours Longmont Police Officers issued a twenty-four year old man a summons for an assault which took place in the 2900 block of Colorful Avenue in the city of Longmont. This case is cleared by arrest with a summons issued in this case.
WARRANT ARREST
Longmont Police contacted an adult male at 9th Avenue and Gay Street suspected of being an escapee from Department of Corrections. An adult male was arrested on a Parole Violation warrant and transported to the Boulder County Jail.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On May 22, 2018 Longmont officers investigated a reported Domestic incident in the 1700 block of Antero Drive. An adult male and female were reported to have been involved in a physical altercation. After investigation, both parties provided conflicting information and no probable cause could be developed and the case will be Closed.
PROTECTION ORDER
On May 22, 2018 Longmont officers investigated a report of a Protection Order Violation in the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue. An adult male was in contact with a female he is restrained from. The male was arrested on related charges and transported to the Boulder County Jail. This case is Cleared by Arrest.
WELFARE CHECK
On 05-22-18 a Longmont resident was transported to the hospital for medical and mental health issues. The case is closed.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018 officers responded to the 400 block of Alpine St for a domestic situation. A male was later taken into custody. Cleared arrest.
DRUG VIOLATION
On 5/22/18 police investigated a narcotics complaint in the 1000 block of Button Rock Dr. Juvenile female was cited. Cleared by Arrest.
ASSAULT
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018 Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Smith Dr. in reference to an assault. A 30 year old male was assaulted by a 22 year old male who was arrested on assault charges. Case cleared by arrest.
DISTURBANCE
On Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at approximately 1555 hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of east 8th Avenue on a family disturbance. Officers contacted an adult female and learned that her brother-in-law stopped by the residence when he had previously been told that he was not welcome. The brother-in-law left the area before officers arrived.
An information report was completed and the case is closed.
BURGLARY
On Tuesday, 05/22/2018 Longmont Police Officers responded to the area of S Bowen St and Gay Dr in reference to a trespass in progress. When officers arrived on scene, the suspects had left the scene, however, officers were able to find the suspects and contact them. All suspects were issued summons for trespassing. Case Closed.
SHOPLIFT
On 05/22/2018, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S Hover St in response to a shoplift in progress. An adult male was detained by loss prevention and was ticketed for the theft. This case is closed.
