Police Report: October 22, 2017

DRUG VIOLATION On October 22, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Emery Street. Two adult males were stopped in the vehicle nearby.

DRUG VIOLATION

On October 22, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Emery Street. Two adult males were stopped in the vehicle nearby. Stolen property associated with a recent vehicle trespass was located in the vehicle along with two firearms and methamphetamine. Both males were taken into custody. This case is open.

TRESPASS 

On October 22, 2017, one adult male was cited for trespassing in the 900 BLK of Hover Street. Cleared by arrest.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Sunday, 10-22-2017, Longmont police responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of bittersweet Lane. Upon investigation and adult male was arrested for a domestic violence related incident. The male was processed and later transported to Boulder County jail. Cleared by arrest.

CRIME MISCHIEF IN PROGRESS

On October 22, 2017 the Longmont Police Department investigated a Disturbance in the 1000 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. An adult male was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief greater that $1,000.00 but less than $5,000.00.

DUI

On October 22, 2017, the Longmont Police Department responded 9th Avenue and Main Street on a motor vehicle crash. One adult female was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, and several other traffic violations. This case is cleared by arrest.

ASSAULT

On 10/21/17, at approximately 2222 hours, Officers responded to a disturbance at the 1800 block of Stroh Place regarding a client not receiving their medication. A report was completed.

BURGLARY

On Saturday, 10/21/17 at approximately 1030 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Summer Hawk Dr. on a report of a burglary to a construction site. There is no suspect information at this time. This case is closed.

DUI

On Saturday 102117 at approximately 2236 hours, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop near E 17th Ave and Saint Andrews Dr. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 102217, Officers responded to the 4400 block of Redmond Dr on a report of a disturbance. An adult male was arrested. The case is open.

DUI

On Sunday 102217 at approximately 0350 hours, the Longmont Police Department investigated a single vehicle crash near E. Mountain View Ave and Button Rock Dr. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

A dog fight happened in Dawson Park with three people being bitten while breaking up the fight. The bite dog was placed on quarantine at home. The other dog owner was referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On Sunday, 10/22/17 at approximately 1300 hours, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of 5th Ave and Main St. on a report of a recovered stolen vehicle out of Englewood, Co. The vehicle was later released to the owner. This case is closed and referred to Englewood Police Department for information.

THEFT

On Sunday, 10-22-2017, Police were dispatched to the 900 block of S Hover Street, Longmont, CO 80501 on an employee theft. Police investigated and arrested one adult female who was transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by Arrest.

DISTURBANCE

On October 22, 2017 Longmont Police responded to the 1400 blk of S Collyer on an assault. The victim did not want to press charges and a report was taken for information only.

SEX ASSAULT

On Sunday, 10/22/17 at about 1600 hours, Officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to 2500 Blk of Main Street for the report of a cold assault. There is no suspect information. Case Closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 102217, officers responded to an address in the 1300 block of Trail Ridge Rd on a disturbance. A report was taken and the case is closed as there is no probable cause for an arrest.

FRAUD

On Sunday, October 21, 2017 at about 2212 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Main Street on a report of a counterfeit bill. Upon arrival officers recovered a counterfeit $20.00 bill. Case closed.
