Police Report: October 4, 2017

FRAUD On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at about 1939 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Cedarwood Drive on a report of a fraud. Upon arrival officers found an adult male purchased $5,000.

FRAUD

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at about 1939 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Cedarwood Drive on a report of a fraud. Upon arrival officers found an adult male purchased $5,000.00 in Walmart gift cards and sent them to an unknown person because of a computer scam. Case open.

THEFT

On 10/4/17, a business in the 300 block of S Parkside Dr reported illegal dumping. The case status is open pending follow-up.

WARRANT ARREST

On 10/03/2017 Longmont police stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Main St. for a traffic violation. An adult male passenger in the vehicle was found to have an active warrant for his arrest, and was taken into custody without incident. The male was booked and later transported to the Boulder County Jail.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 0613 hours, Longmont Police conducted a welfare check in the 2200 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard, Longmont. One adult female was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants and the case was cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

Police received information of a possible threat to Sunset Middle School and one student. The investigation revealed that it was a prank by some students and the case is cleared with a warning from the SRO.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 10/4/17, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred on S. Main St. on 09/28/17. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

THEFT

On 10/4/17, a Longmont business in the 1400 block of Nelson Rd., reported a theft of gasoline from a vehicle, and damage to a locking gas cap.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday October 4, 2017 at approximately 1139 hours, Officer's responded to the 14000 blk of n 107th Ave in Boulder County, Colorado, for a warrant arrest. An arrest was made, this case is closed.

THEFT

On Wednesday, 10/4/17, a report was taken reference a theft which occurred in the 900 Blk. of Emery St. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

WARRANT ARREST

On 10/04/17, officers with the Longmont Police Department observed a suspect at a residence and near an adult female and juvenile female. It was thought that this was in violation of a protection order. After further investigation, it was determined that it is not in violation of a protection order unless DHHS deems otherwise. Case closed unless additional information is developed.

DISTURBANCE

OnWednesday, October 4, 2017, at approximately 1842 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Crestwood Circle on a disturbance involving a juvenile male. The male was issued a summons for causing damage to the walls in the residence. The case is cleared by arest.

FRAUD

On Wednesday, October 3, 2017 Officers were dispatched to a fraud which occurred on the 1400 block of Elmhurst Ln. A report was taken and the case is open for investigation.

SHOTS HEARD

On Saturday, September 30th, 2017, Longmont Officers responded to the 1500 block of Emery in reference to shots heard. No evidence was found to indicate gunshots. Case closed.

BURGLARY

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 2122 hours, Longmont Police investigated a burglary report in the 600 block of Grandview Meadows Drive, Longmont. The case was closed as an informational report.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On October 3, 2017, Longmont Police Department started an investigation of criminal mischief which occurred in the 1200 block of Alpine St. There is no suspect information at this time. The case is open

BURGLARY

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Longmont Police investigated multiple business burglaries in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue, Longmont. The case was closed pending suspect information.

On October 3, 2017 at approximately 0545 hours, Longmont Police investigated multiple business burglaries in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. The case was closed pending suspect information.

BURGLARY

On 10/03/2017 Longmont police responded to a reported residential burglary at the 1600 block of 1641 Lashley St.. Unknown person(s) unlawfully entered a residence and stole items of value from inside. At this time there are no suspects or leads, and the case will be closed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 10/4/2017, Longmont Police collected evidence from a City of Longmont employee reference criminal mischief that occurred in the 600 block of Collyer Street on 9/23/2017 or 9/24/2017. Case closed not leads at this time.

THEFT

A Longmont resident reported the theft of her 8 year old son's bicycle from a school in the 1200 block of Mountain Drive. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

FDC/CRIME TRESPASS

On 10/3/17 at 1845 hours, a Longmont resident in the 2000 block of Tulip St, reported an unknown person illegally entered their unlocked vehicle and committed theft. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017 Longmont Police investigated a domestic disturbance at one of our local gas station. An adult male was arrested as a result of the investigation.

VICIOUS DOG

A Longmont woman was bitten by a dog in the 1000 block of Ponderosa Circle. The dog and owner have not been identified.

A Longmont woman was bitten in the area of 1000-1100 block of Venice by a running at large Pitbull. The woman was walking her cat and when she saw the dog coming at them she picked her cat up. The dog jumped up on her biting her in an attempt to get the cat. Unknown where the dog lives.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS

On Wednesday, 10/4/17, a report was taken reference a criminal trespass and theft which occurred on Cattail Ct. The case is closed as suspects are unknown.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at approximately 1046 hours Longmont Police took a criminal mischief report in the 500 block of Kensington St. Unknown suspects shot out an over head street lamp. This case is closed due to the lack of suspects and workable leads.

SEX ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 10/4/17, Longmont Police were notified of a Social Services report of sexual assault on a child. Case is under investigation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On October 4, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 100 block of Anniversary Ln on the report of a possible domestic incident. An adult male and female were talked to. This report is for information purposes only and is closed.

AUTO THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business in the 1100 block of Main Street reported the theft of a trailer from the parking lot. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

DISTURBANCE

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at approximately 1455 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of 800 Summer Hawk Drive on a family disturbance. An information report was completed on the incident. The case is closed.

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at approximately 2016 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to 200 block of Kimbark St on reports of a theft. A juvenile female was referred to LCJP. Case exceptionally cleared.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at approximately 2016 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Kimbark St for a warrant arrest. An adult male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Case cleared by arrest.
