Police Report: October 7, 2017

PROTECTION ORDER On October 6, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 900 block of Main St on the report of a restraining order violation. An adult female was contacted and found to be the restrained party.

PROTECTION ORDER 

On October 6, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 900 block of Main St on the report of a restraining order violation. An adult female was contacted and found to be the restrained party. She was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail. Case is cleared by arrest.

On Friday, October 06, 2017 at approximately 1355 hours, an adult male violated a protection order where an adult female was the protected party. The male was incarcerated at the Boulder County Jail during the violation. The case is cleared by arrest.

On 10/4/17 Police responded to the 600 block of Peck Dr. reference a reported protection order violation. The incident was investigated and later cleared exceptionally.

DUI

On October 6th, 2017, Officers responded to the 1700 BLK of Jewel Dr. on report of a hit and run accident. One adult male was arrested for Driving under the influence or drugs or alcohol or both, Driving under the influence Per Se, Reckless endangerment, Reckless Driving, and Leaving the scene of an accident. Case cleared by arrest.

On Friday, October 06, 2017, at approximately 2211 hours, Longmont Police stopped a motorist for a registration violation. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. This case is cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG

On Friday 10/05/2017 at approximately 0613 police responded to the 0 block of Gardner Drive in relation to a vicious dog. The dog was found and eventually returned home. The owner was issued a summons for Restraint and Control of the canine. The case is cleared by arrest.

A Longmont man was bitten by a dog he was fostering for the Longmont Humane Society. The dog was placed under quarantine.

UNKNOWN IF INJURY ACCIDENT

On Friday, 10-06-2017, Longmont Police responded to an injury accident in the intersection of Renaissance Drive and Clover Basin Drive. No citations were issued, and this report is for information only. Case Closed.

THEFT

On 10/6/17 Longmont Police responded to the 300 block of Main St. reference a stolen bicycle. The case is currently under investigation.

On October 6, 2017, Longmont Police responded to the 2200 block of Main St on the report of a theft. An adult female was spoken to and a report taken. This case is closed due to lack of suspect information.

TRESPASS

On Friday, 10/06/2017, a 53 year old male received a summons for violating Park Regulations along the Lefthand Greenway.

SEX ASSAULT

On October 6, 2017, at about 1700 hours, Longmont Police responded to a possible sexual assault in the 300 block of Colony Pl. An adult male and female were spoken to and a report taken. This case is open and forwarded to detectives for follow-up.

MENACING

On 10/06/2017 at approximately 2020 hours, Longmont Police Officers were responded to the 400 block of Parkside Dr for a family disturbance. The suspect had left the scene prior to officer's arrival. This case open.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Thursday October 5, 2017 at approximately 1414 hours, Officer's responded to Rodgers Grove Park at S hover and Rodgers Grove Rd in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado for the report of a criminal mischief. An arrest was made, this case is closed.

SHOPLIFT

On 10/05/17 at 1447 hrs. a Longmont Police Officer responded to the 2500 block Main St. reference two juvenile shoplifters. The shoplifters were referred to the Community Restorative Justice program.

On Friday October 6, 2017 at approximately 1104 hours, Officer's responded to the 1200 Blk of S Hover St in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado for the report of a shoplifter. A summons was issued, this case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On Thursday, October 5, 2017, at approximately 2125 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of Dickson St for a domestic in progress. An investigation was conducted. Case closed, informational report only.

WARRANT ARREST

On October 5, 2017 the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Main St on a welfare check. An adult male was contacted and found to have an active arrest warrant in addition to violating a prior trespass warning. The male was taken into custody and transported to Boulder County Jail.

On Friday October 6, 2017 at 0918 hours, Officer's responded to the 300 blk of Lashley st, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado on an attempt to locate a warrant arrest. An arrest was made, this case is closed.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION

On October 5th, 2017 at approximately 2240 hours, Longmont Police located a stolen license plate in the 600 block of Peck Drive Longmont, CO. An investigation was conducted and this case is closed.

BURGLARY

On 10/6/17, a Longmont resident in the 1000 block of Button Rock Dr., reported an unknown person illegally entered their open garage and committed theft. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

The owner of a Longmont property in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue reported an unknown person broke a window on the building. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

MENACING

On 10/06/2017 Officers received a call of a felony menacing that occurred at 17th Ave and Heirloom Way between two males. After investigation, no probable cause could be established that a crime had been committed. Case is closed.

HARASSMENT

On Friday October 6, 2017, Officer's followed up with a cold harassment that took place in the 400 blk of Main St, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado. A report was taken, this case is closed.
