SHOPLIFT

On 9/6/17, a Longmont Business in the 200 Block of Ken Pratt Blvd reported a theft. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 200 block of Saint Clair Ave. reported a theft of a license plate. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 9/7/17, a Longmont resident reported a damaged drivers side window in the 200 block of E Saint Clair Ave. in Longmont, CO. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

A Longmont woman was bitten by a stray cat. The cat was placed under quarantine at the Longmont Humane Society.

SEX ASSAULT

Police investigated a case of sexting of a juvenile female which was reported anonymously. The investigation is continuing to determine the validity of the report.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

On 09/07/2017 Longmont police responded to the 3900 block of DaVinci Dr., reference an alleged abuse of an at risk adult. Officers responded along with Boulder County Housing and Human Services personnel, to check the welfare of an adult male who was allegedly being abused by his caregiver. Based on their investigation, no criminal charges were warranted in this case.

FOLLOW UP

On September 7, 2017 at approximately 1458 hours officers were dispatched to a follow up on the 3000 block of Nelson Rd. A suspect of recent burglaries was located and eluded police. The case is currently open.

SEX ASSAULT

On the Thursday, September 7, 2017, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 200 block of Main Street on a report of unlawful sexual contact. An investigation was conducted. Case open.

SHOPLIFT

An employee of a Longmont business located in the 500 block of S. Hover Street reported a theft of miscellaneous merchandise. The case status is open and has been forwarded for follow up.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at approximately 0155 hours, Longmont Police responded to a business in the 1800 block of Hover St. Longmont, CO, in reference to an intrusion alarm. Upon further investigation, officers learned unknown suspect/s threw a rock through a business window. Case closed.

WARRANT ARREST

On 9-6-17, Officers from the Longmont Police Department responded to the 100 block of East 9th Avenue in reference to a report of a party with a warrant. A 25 year old male was arrested for two active warrants and transported to the Boulder County Jail. The case is cleared by arrest.

FRAUD

A Longmont resident in the 2200 block of Pratt Street reported an incident of Identity Theft occuring in Erie, CO. The case status is closed due to lack of viable suspect information.

VICIOUS DOG

On Wednesday, September 6, 2017 officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Iron Horse Dr for a dog bite. An adult female was issued a summons for an aggressive animal. Case cleared by arrest.

HARASSMENT

On Wednesday, 09/07/2017, Longmont Police gathered information regarding possible explosive device threats made by a resident living in the 1900 block of Carr Ct. Information was forwarded to members of the Bomb Team.

MEDICAL LONGMONT PD LAW

On September 6, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Main Street for an FD assist. A 37 year old male was given a summons. Case closed.

ARSON

On September 6, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Liberty Court in response to an arson. This case is open and has been referred to Detectives for the investigation.

FRAUD

On Wednesday 09/07/2017 at approximately 2157 hours police upon investigation opened this case based on a cold Pawn Broker Violation, which occurred on Tuesday 07/18/2017 at approximately 1819 hours in the 1200 block Main Street. A suspect has been identified and a warrant applied for. The case is open.

DRUG VIOLATION

On 09/06/2017, at approximately 2200 hours Longmont Police Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of 19th Ave and Meadow Drive. The driver of the vehicle had outstanding warrants and was arrested without incident and transported to the Boulder County Jail.

DISTURBANCE

On 09/06/2017 officers responded to the 1000 block of Terry St on a report of an adult female slashing a vehicle's tires. Upon arrival, an adult male and an adult female were questioned. After investigation, no probable cause was found that a crime had occurred, Case is closed.

SHOOTING

On September 6, 2017, at approximately 2222 hours Longmont Police Department responded to the 100 block of East Longs Peak Avenue on the report of an adult male being shot with a BB gun. The case will be closed due to no suspect information.

WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday 090617 at approximately 2310 hours the Longmont Police Department responded to a welfare check/suspicious incident in the area of E. 6th Ave and Lashley St. Longmont, CO. One adult male was arrested on an unrelated warrant without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Thursday 090717 at approximately 0212 hours, the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop near 17th Ave and Terry St. One adult male was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

WARRANT ARREST

On 09/07/2017, Longmont officers responded to the 2200 blk of North Shore Dr. reference a parks curfew violation. An adult female was found to have a warrant for her arrest. Case cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Thursday, 090717, the Longmont Police Department attempted to release a DUI driver on a summons to a sober party. However, the responding party was discovered to be intoxicated and determined to have driven to the police department under the influence of alcohol. One adult female was arrested for DUI without incident. Case cleared by arrest.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont woman reported an aggressive dog in the 1800 block of Clover Creek Dr.

HARASSMENT

Longmont Police took a report of an ongoing harassment involving an adult female. An affidavit for a warrant has been completed for the suspect.

MITTIMUS ARREST

On Thursday, 9-7-2018 at 0953 hours, Longmont Police arrested an adult male on a Miitimus arrest at Longmont Municipal court.

THEFT

A Longmont resident in the 1400 block of Ashcroft Drive reported a theft of a shotgun. The case status is closed with no follow up.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

On 9/7/17, a Longmont resident reported a damaged drivers side window, and back windshield in the 2000 Block of Windmill Dr. in Longmont, CO. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
