The City of Longmont wants to help residents understand the ins-and-outs of using public transportation by sponsoring a workshop. The How to Ride RTD workshop will be held on October 17 from 6-7 p.m. at the Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road.
This workshop discuss the following topics:
- how to locate a stop
- how to read a schedule
- how to select the type of transit you need (bus versus rail)
- fares and passes
- specialty rides including SkyRide to DIA, local, limited, regional and express bus services, Call-n-Ride
- how to access RTD transit by bicycle
An RTD bus will be on site to demonstrate how to board a bus, how to load a bicycle on the bus as well as other bus features.
