The surrounding 1530 18th Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The impacted area includes 18th Street between Francis Street and Logan Street. The closure is due to a demo gas service that will be conducted by Xcel Energy.
Trim trimming will close two other streets in Longmont on Monday. Terry Street between 10th and 11th avenues will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alta Street between 10th and 11th avenues will also be closed on Monday. Trimming is expected to take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Detours will be in place for all road closures for vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic, according to street closure notifications sent out by the city of Longmont.
