Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park closed for two hours on Monday due to snow, icy road conditions and low visibility.
Old Fall River Road remains closed.
The snowfall totals were minor with only a few inches of snow on the tundra. The road accumulated roughly an inch which quickly turned to slushy ice, according to Kyle Patterson, public affairs officer for Rocky Mountain National Park.
"Remember that conditions change quickly this time of year at high elevations in Rocky Mountain National Park," the park services stated in a news release.
