The Public Works & Natural Resources for the City of Longmont has released a statement saying that they are prepared to launch snow and ice control operations. Snow is expected to begin falling during the early morning hours on Thursday, January 27.
The accumulation is expected to be between 1 and 2 inches. The storm is expected to pass through the city during the afternoon. The city asks that residents please prepare, use caution and either avoid or limit travel when the conditions are hazardous.
